This place needs to be condemned. We booked a poolside room with a king bed for two nights. When we arrived, neither of the two doors (pool-side and hallway) would open. After chasing back and forth to the desk twice, we found that only the pool-side door was operational. The hallway door was full of dents and scratches like it had been broken into at one time. There wasn't a king bed, just two double sized. There was no microwave and the fridge was not very cold and so frosted up the door would barely close. The adjustment knob was broken off. The TV had only one or two channels ("the cable system has problems"). The wifi wouldn't stay connected and I could get only an occasional weak cell signal. After some complaining, they admitted they DID have another open room. The wifi was still problematic, but the cell signal was decent. There were 3 lamps, but only 1 had a working bulb. There was only two outlets that were all used for the microwave and refrigerator and TV and lamp. My husband had a Cpap that needed electricity. We went down again to ask about the missing bulbs and lack of outlets. They sent us to another room that had been updated within the last 20 years, so it had enough outlets. We stayed the first night, but the following day, the toilet (one of those 30+ year old ones with the HUGE flush tanks) started to flush slowly and then overflowed (just water). The front desk said that they would "try" and find a plunger. He came up, but by that time the water had trickled back to normal. I asked if someone would be up soon to mop up the floor, and he said "we don't have a mop, but I'll bring up some towels for YOU to wipe it up with!" He said WE caused it because we flushed toilet paper down the toilet instead of putting USED toilet paper in the trash can! He acted like that's a NORMAL thing to not flush used toilet paper! We left for a different motel.
We have stayed at this place many times over the past several years, but never again. The last time we stayed was pre-pandemic, and THEN they had a pool light that had rusted out and was floating loose in the pool attached only by its wires. They had claimed it was "OK" to swim because it had already tripped...

We booked this hotel for our 5 year anniversary. The main reason we chose this hotel was because it had an indoor heated pool, and we also chose a non-smoking suite with an in room whirlpool. Upon entering our room, immediately we noticed the room had definitely been smoked in. We called the front desk attendant, who was very nice, to let them know, and told them we would still stay in the room. Afterwards we decided to go to the pool, however we were greeted with ice cold water that was definitely not heated. At this point we just decided to use the whirlpool in our room, however when we attempted to fill it, we discovered that there was no hot water in our room. At this point I went to the front desk attendant who promised us many points on our account and switched us to the other suite upstairs. He and I went to the room together to verify the water was hot and we moved our stuff to the new room. When we went to move our food to the new mini fridge we realized it was warm and not running. It was cold enough we just put our items in the car to stay cold. After the whirlpool was filled, we turned the jets on the same way that we did in the previous room, however they were non-functional in this room. At this point we were very disappointed and decided to go to sleep. However it was almost impossible due to how loud the bed squeaked. Around 3 am, I was also woken to the sound of water dripping. When I went to inspect the sound, it appeared the mini fridge had attempted to start running and was now dripping water everywhere. I got it wiped with towels and made sure the fridge was turned off. The best part of the stay was turning in the keys, and I will happily never return. I have also checked since our stay, and no points were ever...
Read moreIf ZERO stars was an option I would definitely pick that. This place has went downhill so much, it's unacceptable. The new management is horrible! If I was Wyndham I would not associate with this hotel or it's staff any longer. I had called the hotel directly on to ensure hot tub rooms were up and working (because it's been an issue before) and to get rates. The woman who answered the call at the front desk assured me hot tub rooms were available and hot tub was working and quoted me a rate of $106 + tax ( I was going to book online for $108 + tax) She would not let me reserve the room, just asked that I come in and reserve at the rate of $106. Once arriving she then stated the rate would now be $120 + tax, the reason given was because it was a weekend. We proceed with reserving the room (big mistake), once getting to room, we found it to be dirty, stains on mattress, hair all over bathroom floor, very humid and condensation everywhere, the hot tub was more than filthy and the ceiling above it was falling apart. We called the front desk and was told that maintenance wouldn't be in until Mon. and nothing they could do at that time. We then discovered that the TV did not work as well, we walked to the front desk to inform her of that and again were told, maintenance would be in until Mon. Upon check out, the next AM we explained our concerns to the man working the front desk. He said he would have the manager call us. We did not receive a phone call after 2 days so I reached out to hotel front desk directly. I was told to call back next day after 11 to speak to manager. I called back the next and was able to speak to Manager "Micky" who was very rude and totally disregarded all of my concerns and stated I would not be getting ANY money back for my stay. After some continued conversation, Micky stated he would "talk to his staff and then call me back" I have yet to receive a phone call back or any of my money back ($134.40 with taxes) for this awful experience. I don't recommend that he be the example of what Wyndham hotels is known to be due to his absolutely horrible customer service! Do NOT waste...
