This was the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. The service is beyond excellent! They offer free snacks, drinks, wine and beer. There is a kitchen stocked with different snacks and drinks, there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is very home like and you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door. Each room is themed with unique furniture pieces and antiques. The hotel is over 120 years old and beautifully restored. Free breakfast is offered each morning and actually has great options. The town around the hotel is wonderful with cute antique shops and cafe. Definitely an experience you won’t find in most places. The owner is on site and so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Well, I gotta tell ya- this hotel is not like motel Six where I usually stay. For starters, it was nice. Each room had a different layout and cool decorative style. It was almost like staying at someone's house. Also, the rooms did not have that cigarette-smokey smell I've grown accustomed to at Motel six. So weird. There was an upstairs lounge area that the kids enjoyed hanging out in, complete with lots of board games. Which didn't last long when they discovered- the WiFi was free. Also nice. Last item- the service was great. Very friendly staff at check-in and also the person that cleaned the rooms. Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Arcadia.

We found the Oak Park Hotel quite by accident, being off season it was quiet. The owner opened up for us and gave us a super rate on the only suite and it was terrific. He is generous to a fault with a breakfast bar open all of the time stocked with too much to list all included in your stay. From bottled water, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, coffees, teas and so much more. His sweet personality is infectious and he even gave us a private mini concert on the piano before we left. We will return to this hidden gem and probably alter driving plans to stay there. Their recommendations for dining were great. Affordable, elegant and quaint.

I cannot speak to the condition of the hotel, but here was my experience with the reservation that we had to cancel. It is one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences that I have had with a hotel.

I booked 6 nights for my In-laws in March using booking.com. I usually try to book directly, but going to the hotel site, their booking system redirected me to 2 different booking portals both of which were more expensive and more restrictive that booking.com.

I called the hotel to ask a question after I had finalized the booking. The manager that I spoke to said that I would need to leave a CC on file to guarantee the reservation. I told him that I had already done this on booking.com. He then started going on about how it isn't his problem if I booked through a third party and that he would cancel the reservation if I didn't give him a card.

I said that I would call back a week out from arrival and put a card on file. My wife called 1 week out and left a card on file. 2 hours later, her card had 5 different fraudulent charges on it that were flagged. I locked the card and she called the hotel back.

The manager that she gave the card to went ballistic and literally started yelling at her that she was a scammer and that he would call the police on her for daring to question him about this.

I cancelled the reservation with booking.com and filed a complaint with them. The rep there said that the reservation is guaranteed by their service, and that the bill was set up to be paid on arrival as per their agreement with the hotel.

The entire thing was very sketchy to...

Take a step back into time when hotel stays welcomed customers into a warm and comforting environment. We felt exactly this when we visited the Oak Park Inn. On display for visitors to relax in are antique furnishings located in the lobbies and bedrooms. The wide stairwell speaks its history with every step. The room we resided in was perfectly sanitized. It felt safe to walk around in without the fear of old carpeting (like most modern hotels have). The bathroom was clean and the soaps were fragrant. The owner goes above and beyond to make each guest feel at home with food, drink, candy and more! Upstairs, is a wide opening where people relax in antique furniture and play board games or read books. What an amazing get-a-way for bookworms! The ambience is perfect for a blanket, hot tea/coffee and a book. Located outside the hotel is an array of antique gift shops! There are supposedly antique markets from October-May. We stayed during the last one and it was a perfect place to shop and then come back to the hotel to rest in between. We truly loved, and will return to, the Oak Park Inn. We could really feel the hard work and dedication the owner and his family have put into this place. Thank you to this family for providing us with such a memorable step back into a more relaxing and...

MY HUSBAND AND I CAME TO THE QUAINT TOWN OF ARCARDIA FLORIDA FOR A WEDDING. WE WERE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA AT ALL. I WENT ONLINE TO LOOK FOR A PLACE TO SPEND A NIGHT. I CAME ACROSS THE OAK PARK INN. I LOVED THE LOCATION AND THE LOOK OF THE INN. CHECKED OUT THE ROOMS ONLINE AND AGAIN, I WAS VERY INTERESTED IN STAYING THERE. I CALLED FOR A RESERVATION AND TALKED TO MR PATEL, THE GENERAL MANAGER. HE WAS VERY NICE AND I IMMEDIATELY FELT LIKE THIS WAS THE PLACE TO STAY. BOOKED A ROOM AND EVEN WHEN I ASKED IF WE COULD HAVE EARLIER CHECK-IN, HE WAS VERY GRACIOUS AND SAID WE COULD. FROM THE MOMENT WE ENTERED THE INN AND SAW THE ORNATE DECOR WE WERE HOOKED! AND THEN TO MEET MR PATEL AND KNEW WE WERE GOING TO STAY IN A PLACE THAT WAS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER WE HAD STAYED IN. HE GAVE US THE TOUR, AND SHOWED US THE KITCHEN AREA AND ALL THE FOODS AND DRINKS THAT ARE STOCKED THERE FOR OUR ENJOYMENT. HE CERTAINLY HAS ALOT OF PRIDE IN HIS INN AND HAS SO MANY WONDERFUL PLANS FOR IT. WE HAD A LOVELY STAY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY, BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE SPECIAL, THEN YOU HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE WITH THE OAK PARK INN. THANK YOU MR PATEL FOR YOUR SPECIAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND TREATING US SO GRACIOUSLY. WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST WITH...
