Gorge Lake Campground — Hotel in Area E (Chilliwack River Valley)

I really enjoyed this campsite. There were 8 sites total, each with a tent pad, table, and grill/fire pit. The toilets were kept clean, and there was trash and recycling right on site. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and it was peaceful with great access to the hikes in the park. Beautiful views of the river. Great little area near Seattle City of light. Directly on the water, lake access on West end with user friendly boat launch. Sites are mostly fine gravel with prefab iron fire pits. Line of site to other camping spots is largely unavoidable due to proximity. Easy access to toilet facilities, no water or power outputs available. Communal garbage and recycle recepticals available. Absolutely gorgeous! Views and access to the river and a boat launch in a lagoon. Also trails around. There are 8 spots and it's first come first serve. There are metal "bear boxes" for keeping your food in too! Remember to bring your own firewood!
