It goes against the grain for me to leave even one star for this NIGHTMARE MOTEL.||||We were in Arlington on business and when our meeting ran many hours longer than anticipated we needed to find a place to stay. Unfortunately for us, there was some kind of major weekend event and every reputable place we called was booked solid.||This one, off the major highway, had plenty of rooms to spare.............||||We pulled in, anxious to lay down and sleep in our "suite".||||This BudgetStay Suites, in my opinion, was the single worst place I have ever stayed, in the entire United States, and that is saying something because I have stayed in some horrible places over the last 6 decades of traveling.||||Budgetstay Suites "amenities" include the following:||NO in-room microwave||NO in-room refrigerator||NO ice maker anywhere on the premises||Towels: two in the bathroom befitting an infant. (Had to ask for four more)||Furniture: Queen-size bed (sleeping bag would have been more comfortable); one rickety nightstand; one rickety/filthy desk with a decent chair; 25-inch wall mounted TV that was at least 15 feet, across the room, from the foot of the bed.||Bathroom: filthy walls and floors, peeling paint everywhere, chipped & cracked porcelain...shall I go on???||Windows: one, just one, with a cracked and bent horizontal blind and a window ledge that hadn't been cleaned for months.||||However what it did offer was:||UNLIMITED DIRT and filth on the carpet, the walls, the bathroom, and who knows what on the mattress. I slept in my clothes for protection!||UNLIMITED COCKROACHES and other creepers.||||To add insult to injury, this room cost $95.00 as of...

Read moreI checked in to my room, walked in the door, and it was like 105°. The A/C was completely off. I turned it on full blast, and it was still unbearable 3 hours later. I ended up just moving the entire mattress to right in front of the A/C (in the living room/kitchen area) so I could sleep. I get trying to save money on electricity, but this was ridiculous. Room was very poorly cleaned, and there was a dead roach near the table. Bedroom window didn't close all the way, and there is apparently a railroad very close by, or at least that's what it sounded like. There was a little black curly hair on the towels. I think on my next trip, I will just pay a little more for a decent room somewhere else. Only reason location got 2 stars is because it was within a couple miles...
