As a regular traveler and safety rep, I am completely appalled. Unbelievably worst hotel encountered. How they were even able to operate is mind blowing. Nothing but a huge fire hazard. They placed us all the way at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor, which the hallway was full of construction debris and furniture. I had to climb over a sofa to get to the room and my child tripped over debris. We purchased the stay through Expedia which we put in for pet friendly at $142. Even with insurance, expedia couldn't refund without hotel managements approval. So at arrival around 12-1am, the woman accepted $100 cash ($20 per dog) as well as $20 cash for snacks and drinks. We stayed there for less than 8 hours and it cost us $450 due to ridiculous charges of $180. The worst part of all of this is the general manager Brandy who is the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken with. Not only did it take over a month to have her return our phone call regarding these false charges, she immediately raised her voice at me once I brought up the word refund. I made sure the linens were stripped, trash was removed, towels were set to be taken and easy to be cleaned. I own a cleaning company for airbnbs so I have appreciation for others, especially hotel. Hotels are an experience! A huge part of a memory for most visitors. The way its cleaned, prepared and maintained should be shown once you arrive. This hotel lacked all. Two of the beds didn't even have a sheet on it and the pillows were old, crusty, and yellow throw pillows shoved into pillow cases. There were only two towels in the bathroom when knowing 5 guests are staying. While showering in the morning, the lights to the whole hotel went out. After experiencing all of this, I should have requested and received a full refund. I wouldn't have stayed there for free.

The FIVE “MUST HAVES” in any Hotel/Motel stay! Safe! Clean! Quiet! Good Wi-Fi! No Bugs! Comfort Inn Sayre PA A lot for a little… I checked into the Comfort Inn with no problems. I used a third party booking app, and saved $250. The people that tell you to book direct and you will save are wrong. I use a booking app to get the price quotes, the I call the hotel and see if they can match or beat the rate. In this case they wanted over $700 for the room for four days. The room was cleanish, but had stains on the floor, and the ottoman for the chair had some weird scratch marks. The room served its purpose. It had a small desk, but the coffee maker and tray took much of the space. Plenty of outlets, but no USB ports. The desk chair was very uncomfortable. I work remotely, and it’s important to have a good work space and chair. The wi-fi was good, but it went off a lot wanting you to sign back in again. There is a TV, microwave, a mini-fridge. The bathroom is tight, and there is not a lot of counter space in the bathroom, or the room in general. The hot water was good, and the shower had descent pressure. There are a lot of stores around, but mainly sketchy, like smoke shops, and gun stores. Most of the other guests at the Hotel don’t wear masks, there are no social distancing standards; the staff do not wear masks. I was happy that they had a nice laundry room, and washer/dryer for $1.50. The dryer actually dries clothes on the first try. Some Hotels will keep the dryer heat very low, even though you have a temperature option, and you need to use it a few times to get your clothes dry. It was fairly quiet except for a gaggle of screaming kids at one point in the hall that was going on for a while - bad parenting; but the staff got on the problem right away. It was a good stay, but way overpriced for Sayre PA.

My first night here was good. A regular hotel. But the second night. When I was about to go to bed, I saw about 5 or 6 silverfish (eats clothing, and other things etc). My 13 year old then went down to complain. He explained the situation and they did offer us an upgrade. But all of our luggage was unpacked and we were going to bed. So we declined. But that’s where the good ends. They offered my THIRTEEN YEAR OLD pesticide so he could do it himself instead of doing anything meaningful. That’s alone is unacceptable. The next morning, we went down and asked for a refund. The room was dirty so we felt that was fair. They said that they would have to call their manager and get back to us. THEY NEVER DID untill I called later. They said that they did refund us $20. For my 120 dollar room. I then talked to the manager. I explained I wanted a full refund because it was definitely not standard. Dispite hotel policy, she refused. In the rudest way possible. She dismissed me. Saying “I get them all the time.” And “I’m not refunding you for a silverfish.” In a really rude tone. I don’t know if she was the owner or not. But I really don’t care. Corporate said I had to get the store to refund it. They gave me a case number to give to the hotel. When I said “they gave me a case number to give to you” she said “I don’t want your case number.” (Again, rudely.) I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s expensive, the rooms were average, the service was absolutely horrible. The breakfast was cold. And they now have a silverfish infection that they won’t do anything about. DO NOT STAY HERE!

While at first we just assumed things were off because it’s a small town and a lot of people were coming at once but it seems as the week went on the entire staff could not handle the capacity of the amount of people.

Check in was a long line and no rooms were ready. When asked when they maybe available we were told we have no idea there are all baseball teams checking out on the same day checking in. This now told me this wasn’t the first tournament in the area so the hotel should have been equipped more efficiently.

We respected the rules for the most part as regards to the quiet hours. We were not part of the disruption in the evening of 7/17. We understand this was upsetting but the after math of 7/18 with a text Message directly attacking our players who did nothing more then maybe run the halls but on a whole the parents were trying their best to keep the kids entertained. If you can’t handle 11 year old children my suggestion would be not To offer to be host for the tournaments. We felt personally attacked when there were arguing non baseball family related, crying children all ours of the night and arguments with non baseball guests. It was stereotyped As the like kids were all the problems but I can assure that other guests were loud as well. As far as quiet hours , the pool shouldn’t be open past the quiet hours as my room was directly above and I heard everything all night. Again I know it comes with territory so I wouldn’t complain but let’s think about rules and keeping the on an even playing field. As far as receiving a pretty nasty treating text we came back from lunch to apologize to the front desk and thanked them for the message and we got told we were Going to be sued and we should Be. To me again this was a threat. I then at that moment felt attacked and honestly extremely targeted by the manager Of this hotel and Melissa at The front desk.

To top this off my room never Got Cleaned as I was told it would Be yesterday, 25 dollars in quarters were stolen from my room, and one night I went back to all my hanging towels taken from my Room but had no replacements. So to be threaten by staff and treated rudely for having children playing baseball in a town in the middle of now where with nothing to do having some Fun but innocent fun, yet your hotel couldn’t check in properly, accommodate room cleaning, take towels but don’t replace and then make Me walk down and get them at the desk. It was a joke. I will also be writing the little league who has a wonderful tournament to take your hotel off the list of recommendations because clearly you cannot handle...

I had an assistant that was staying with me in my room then he decided to stay elsewhere because he was from this area but he would meet me every morning after 7:00 so we can get to the job site and start working as my guest...I thought he had privileges to eat breakfast which he was doing.. I guess he was too nervous to show his key card. I feel he was being discriminated against... Even though he stayed at the property to wait for me so I could explain everything, he was booted off the property and was threatened by calling the police on him...He humbly left and didn't say anything just to not cause any problems with anyone..He was also embarrassed by the situation... He was waiting for me to come out so he could have me explain everything to the front desk... The gentleman couldn't even wait at the bench for me I had to meet him at dandy's that morning...he was booted off the property even though he was waiting for me so I can provide a proper explanation... this is discrimination even though I was staying there for the whole week and he was there as my guest but I apologize if he wasn't allowed to participate in breakfast... But for the most part I still think he was being discriminated against because he was waiting for me in order for me to explain to the front desk what was going on he humbly left because he did not want to start any problems and also he didn't want to deal with the police at that time.. I'm leaving this review because I know other hotels wouldn't treat him this way. also there was noise coming from the Halls from time to time I felt like loud stomping ..but thankfully I'm a deep sleeper and this doesn't affect me too much... But this is going to be takem up to corporate and the person that dealt with my assistant will be included in my complaint.. there is nothing that can be done unless this goes to the higher-ups... This is my review thank you. I just wanted to add. My company was paying for the stay so my name won't show. I found out way to late and I had to get back home. But there was supposed to be 2 guests myself and anyone that was working for me... I told them to always include a guest because I had this same problem before with other places. I'll reach out to the manager next time tell her/him that next time fI have a guest and make sure he is allowed to be there......

I was there for an 11u baseball tournament and there were SEVERAL other teams in the hotel and the hotel was BOOKED. I check in on Monday, July 15th and they boys were typical boys playing, going from room to room and swimming after their game. There were no issues until Wednesday when a lady check into room 329 and started yelling at the boys for being too loud in the hallway and her baby was sleeping. It was 7:00 PM. She also complained about them in the pool. I was in room 336. I did have an argument with her from the door of my room and she was in the doorway of her room and I asked her to not scream at the boys and it was NOT quiet hour yet. At midnight I received a knock on the door from the front desk lady and a man saying that there were several complaints about my room and that I had to checkout by 12 noon the next day, Thursday July 18th. I was confused and went down to the front desk only for the lady working at the front desk to raise her voice at me and told me that the boys were knocking on doors and running. THEY WERE NOT DOING THAT! I was told that I was being kicked out also because I was in an altercation with someone in the parking lot and they have audio and video of it. When I asked to see it she said she doesn't have it but she saw it. I asked about complaints on other rooms and was told that others were being kicked out also. The next morning I went to speak to the general manager and told the whole story and was told, "no wonder why they can't find any film of any altercation because the lady in room 329 told the front desk that it happened at 10 or 10:30. There was NO ALTERCATION IN THE PARKING LOT AT ALL. The lady in room 329 checked out that Thursday morning and the general manager told me that when she reviewed the tapes that she saw her daughters from room 329 knocking on other people's rooms and getting others in trouble. That is absolutely...
