First impression of the room is 'meh' the mirror on the wall at the head of the bed was not pleasing, the mirror and the light had labels from toiletries stuck to them. The area by the telephone and the wall under the mirror had hand prints as well.
In regard to comfort the mattress were old, I could feel the springs. The pillows probably should have been replaced a long time ago as there was nothing to them.
All these things are tolerable, not desirable but tolerable.
The staff on the other hand. Checking in was easy enough. Check out time is at 11, however at 9 am a member of house keeping attempted to enter my room. At 9:30 housekeeping came back, a man and a women stood at the door saying something about checking out, admittedly I had trouble understanding them with there accents but I told them I knew check out was at 11 and I would be leaving before hand. A few moments later the front desk called, apparently they had trouble understanding me as well because the front desk was told by the house keepers I would not leave until 1pm. I explained my frustration with the morning events, he apologized and told me my key cards were downstairs so they thought I left. I assured him my key cards were with me. At this point I was highly annoyed by all 3 disturbances. Upon leaving my room 2 different house keepers asked me several minutes appart if I was checking out. The first immediately upon leaving my room and the second while waiting for the elevator.
I cant comment on the free breakfast, I was so irritated that I left my key cards in the bucket of sanitizer and left.

Read moreUpdate- drain plug installed and dryer hung on wall. But today I opened door and hydrolic hinge broke. Then my daughter was standing on stool so I could alter dress and she saw a used needle on top of cabinet. This is VERY unsettling. They need to keep some Clean, safe rooms for paying customers! NEVER a manager here. Dryer didn't work and no sign on it. They all knew it didnt work, So I put a sign on it! Added some pics of the door repair- removed hinge 🙄. I DO NOT RECOMMENT STAYING HERE. STAFF IS NICE, BUT MANAGER (WHOMEVER THAT IS) DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY.
Definitely needs some repairs. I’m staying here for 8 nights and thankful that the bed is comfortable. Front desk girl was nice. Cheaper to reserve online vs in person as I needed to add extra night and it was $30 more at desk, so I did online while standing there. Hairdryer laying on sink (off wall), opened closet and it doesn’t stay open because the prefab wood is destroyed. Cushions on couch and we stools stained. Looks like a lot of unruly kids stayed in here. Oh and no plug in tub to take bath. Shower pressure is awesome, but nozzle and shower handle not so good. No outlets near bed 🙄. “Continental “ breakfast is all carbs and private label yogurt. Suggest frozen breakfast sandwiches that can be heated up. You probably wonder why did I give them 1 star… just thankful to have a place to lay my head at night.

Read moreChecked in for Memorial Day weekend. At first everything was fine but after our first night things changed. Visiting family in the area when the hotel called me and asked me why I hadn’t checked out. When I told them my reservation was through Monday they started an argument with me so I left my family gathering to go show them my reservation confirmation.
When I got to the desk the lady rather abruptly told me before I even finished talking that they had figured out the problem. No call to tell me, no apologies. Then she had the nerve to tell me housekeeper said our room smelled and she wanted to know why. The only thing I could think of was my three year olds night time diaper and I told her that. She advised me I immediately needed to remove it from the room and that housekeeping wouldn’t touch it I had to do it.
I went upstairs packed my stuff up came down and told them to check me out. They told me they were going to charge me for another day because it was after 2. It was actually about 1:45. I told them I’d charge it back and then they told me to get out of the hotel.
