Executive Inn And Suites Baker — Hotel in Baker

Soo family came here had no choice because of everything with the hurricane. We have health issues and being where we was with the heat was becoming hard for us. The staff that they do have seems to be pretty friendly(some of them)... Issues we had being here...They definitely hyped up the prices... When we came back with our stuff there's is the rolling cart but if your upstairs there is no elevator.. Had to carry our stuff up.. We seen that they have a sign for continental breakfast... But when we got down there, there wasn't any breakfast, just juice and coffee, which you had to get between 6 and 9am.. They guy that my mom asked about the breakfast looked at us as if why are you asking went behind the counter to check he books and walked away.. We can tell that they are struggling the microwave didn't work its only the wife, husband, and her mom or mother in law or father in law working there.. Would've been nice to be able to use the pool but couldn't.. If they can get the place cleaned up and in order it can be a great hotel I do wish them well and hopefully the next time we swing...

If I could give this no stars, I would. The place is dirty, infested, and the management is TRASH. DO NOT stay here if you have other options. We had issues from the very beginning with their system not informing them of us cancelling the room for one night and just staying the second night. EVEN AFTER we showed them the confirmation email of the cancellation, they still blamed us for using the website instead of calling. Then, against our better judgement, we still checked on and paid but once we saw the room, we decided that we would not be staying there. The bad customer service and the dirty lobby should have been clues smh after informing MGMT that we would not be staying because of the poor conditions, they REFUSED to give us a refund even tho we had checked in just an hour before. Stayed here to get some sleep it was horrible!! Parking lot in back of building had old bbq pits rusted out. Back door of building had paint falling off. Stairs were dirty full of dried mud. Omg the ice maker leaks & full of disgusting wet matter around the bottom of the thing. Dirty walls in the hall area. The room itself was drab and plain best thing in room was the tv. Headboard was broken/missing a piece, floor carpet full of snags, under the AC unit was some thing white & powdery looking. The furniture looks like something from a garage sale old and beat up. The bed was aweful sheets worn out pillows with no type of shape. The bathroom had a Orkin box I assume for roaches. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet.
