Great people here, always willing to help. Its rent a center so if you got bad credit or very low credit, don't have $4,000 + tax for new funature at the moment due to a flood and savings went elsewhere. - can get here with no credit check. Of course you are going to be paying higher for things that you would be able to buy on credit if you had good credit or higher at cheaper prices. Life has consequences to credit if you mess it up when younger. No emergency funds such as Paycheck to Paycheck instead of saving for emergencies or emergiencies and splurge money.

Even if you pay as cash next day in the 4-6months, you willl still be paying more (Paying leasing fees, accidential coverage that comes with a lot other things). Also you are paying the service of leasing during that time period (pricing for the poeple who work there. Brand new replacement on the product you are buying it it breats). If you go the full lease, just remember the rarer something is, the higher the price is going to be. Reason you will see that if you do a full lease and pay monthly for a PlayStation 5 - at say 210 a month for 17months. You are also paying for the demand on the product (The latest generation video consoles were almost ready in 2019 and were being mass produced in 2020 - for release that holiday season) Products are coming from overseas like China/Japan(Asia as a whole). Covid is already surging again on most of Asia/Europe. US is about to get the second surge at this time. Products like electronics are still short. - So yep you will pay higher interest on some items there while other might pay 50% more then what a product is worth than 500%. You can also return the product, as long as all works. Nothing broken, you can return to start saving are start a new lease for new product. No they doesn't report to credit bureau.

In ending - great friendly people. New products for home, entertianment. need more electronics though! Also would love to see higher model of brands like TV, microwaves, generators, etc. instead of basic model of the high end product.(like the first level of the high tier tv. Along with that get mid and ultra ranges too, not as many but cover your ranges). You going to pay more then you would if you bought it out right. Some people don't have that right then and there, so lease to own comes in. You can also trade in what you got for whats new coming next year, If you don't and pay it...

The initial process of purchasing from Rent-A-Center in Baker was seamless. However, once it came time to make payments, we began receiving frequent and aggressive reminders. The manager even suggested that if we couldn’t afford the items, we shouldn’t have purchased them—insensitive considering our circumstances. Our air conditioning unit broke unexpectedly, costing us $5,000, and my husband’s mother underwent emergency surgery, which further caused issues.

Despite these challenges, we are only about $300 away from fully paying off our items. The manager told my husband she didn’t care whether it was a $40 or $50 left on the account. This approach to customer service is unacceptable.

I have filed a complaint and am awaiting a response from the district manager. No customer should be treated this way, especially when facing difficult situations. Rent-A-Center in Baker needs to reconsider their management and customer service practices. Horrible customer service from the Manager. I normally shop ther le but never again. She gave me incorrect information then when I called back to verify she didn't call me back. Yet they call like clock work for a payment. The manager changed everything she said, then told me after 2 weeks that I had to call Corporate for my refund which she never mentioned until today. I waited 2 1/2 weeks for a 20 dollar credit I wanted to go toward my next payment. Since she told her employee the wrong information while I was on the phone I called her out on her lies then told them to come get the washer. A waste of my time, I can't do...
