I have had the WORST customer service without even booking a reservation yet! I called yesterday to ask questions about some rooms, the girl that answered before letting me finish my 1st sentence referred me to their website. Now I am a consumer that thinks customer service is VERY important so of course I'd like to talk to them, get a good feel for this place. Well after her referring me to their website I asked my question about a room they had, she very rudly said she will read off to me whatever it says on the website for the room but then put me on hold.. I was on hold for a few minutes then could hear her talking to another customer and her first words to them were "What" so she must be in a bad mood... lmao!!!! She came back in the phone with me and said the same thing even more rudely this time that since I don't want to go on and look she will read off what the website says about the room. With poor customer service like that I called her out on it and she hung up. The next day (today) I call and ask for a manager, I'm sure they would like to be aware of the poor customer service this girl provided, so I asked for a manager, the girl that answered said ok.. paused.. then said what's going on, I asked if she was the merger and she said she was and what's going on again, I asked for her name, she paused huffed a little said No la with an attitude and then said ma'am what's going on. I'm already calling to complain about poor customer service and this girl is giving me such an attitude so asked for her manager and she said she is trying to help that she asked what's going on 3 times and that all I want to do is give her an attitude, well yeah I'm going to give her one after the attitude she had just given me. I stated I wanted to complain about the poor service and potentially make a reservation if it was resolved but I will not go there with the incredibly poor customer service these girls have given and I hung up. Since I never was passed o we to any other managers higher than this No la girl I called back a few minutes later and she answered and I asked for the manager and she right away yelled at me saying she is not arguing with me and hung up on me!!!! This is the worst service have ever received from anywhere!!! I am a manager at my facility and I would 100% want to know if any of my staff treated anyone this poorly, so I will be making sure I reach higher up! All I wanted to do was book a nice overnight for my anniversary for something romantic with me and my other half. It will never be there, that...

We stayed here the past few weeks because we are working. First week we stayed in a jacuzzi tub room with a fireplace and it was amazing. We had a great weekend. It was quiet off the beaten path, service was terrible at the front desk. There is a man and older woman I never caught their names but I got a weird feeling that they did not want us there. The housekeeping staff are amazing rooms are clean housekeepers brought us everything we needed.

Second week we were put in a very small room, not as clean as the jacuzzi room. I had inquired to a man at the front desk named Gio (i think because I could not understand what he was saying) but I inquired about the difference in price for the jacuzzi tub rooms. He insulted me insinuating that it was “much more” than I could afford. I guess he didn’t want our money. So the owners loss there. He wasn’t warm or welcoming and the customer does not come first because when I checked in he was too busy putting decorations away than to help me. We stayed one more time this week and it snowed a lot. We have to be to work by 6 am. The parking lot was nowhere near getting ready to be plowed. We almost lost our jobs not to mention our vehicle got stuck on the huge hill out of here, but the worst thing is the man told me almost yelling at me that they are contract plowing and there is a huge red truck with a big plow sitting in the parking lot!!! And there were drug addicts in the room a couple doors down. We called to ask if the people above us could quiet down at 10 pm at night because we have to be up by 4 and couldn’t sleep. It was a horrible stay and I do not recommend this place to families with young children or anyone just looking for a quiet welcoming warm place. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT PLACE!

Also they did not try to make it right he acted like they were not wrong. He also put someone above us purposely while the whole inn was empty. He could have put them in any of the other rooms but he put them directly above us. Why were we treated so badly? We love it here but we do not love the inn keepers. Lighten up and act like your guests are welcome. At least offer a free night next time if you want business to come back. Yall are by far the biggest jerks I have ever met. We unfortunately decided we do not want...

This rating is based on the type of hotel you are staying at. If you are staying here you are looking for an inexpensive stay in the North Conway area but don't want to sleep at a motor inn. This is that place. Great price. Check. Pet friendly for the dogs. Check. Free breakfast in the morning. Check. Now here are the pitfalls. The breakfast isn't going to be top quality especially with covid hitting. Your looking at bagels and danishes. Some cereal and some juice. But it's free and with kids quick and easy. Your not going to have Marriott quality furniture or crown molding. You may have a bad paint job or a patched up backward tile here or there or even sharpie on the tub to show you where the gauge has to be to make the run a shower but it all does the job. Cheap safe night stay in an expensive area. Also the back road it sits on is a great morning walk. 2.5 miles one way safe shaded and quiet with a bunch of other walkers or runners. Great family owned business. Nice pool amazing view. Save your money and stay here!

The room had dirty shampoo bottles, and cocker roaches. I have emailed and telephoned them regarding this situation and haven't had anyone return my emails or calls. I did not find it appropriate to address this matter during checkout, with other guests in ears reach. I emailed them, and spoke to someone over the phone, a woman stated she would have someone contact me shortly. I have not heard from anyone regarding this issue. I had been there in 2009, and it was a pleasant stay. This Inn has gone downhill, room had a moldy odor, the gentleman at the front desk seemed irritated and disgruntle. I definitely will not return to this place again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Photo of cocker roaches is pending, I'm sure they won't post that. A discounted rate or an apology at most would have made a world of difference with my review. Check out this review of Swiss Chalets Village Inn
