addition after Speaking with Management and a Stay for 1 night* Spoke with Michael who was a very polite individual who seemed very helpful on trying to assist with my accomidations for my family on an extended stay. He even assisted on providing a very moderate quote in person.
A few nights later my family and I did stay at the hotel not bad for a last minute booking especially for the price provided. Yes there is a little more to be desired in the atmosphere but it is unique none the less. For those who have commented on the odor yes the room might smell like an ash tray but for the price you honestly get an air freshener and move on. The beds were completely clean and comfortable inspection was done for any type of holes, dirty sheets or bugs. And to this inspection nothing was found to support claims of disgust. If having the option of staying there on an extended stay becomes feasible then I offer my help on atleast help get rid of the ash tray smell if allowed.

Read moreFairly close to Newark Airport, so thought we'd use this as a base to get into Manhattan for the 3 days staying here as it didn't look that far on the map (!!!). ||Although there is a bus (route 119) from just up the road, it takes over an hour to get into the city. The transport in general from this area is, well, terrible!. We only got into Manhattan on one day, which was really disappointing. We didn't have a car, so ended up walking miles. Jersey State Park (for the Statue of Liberty tour) is about 8 miles away, but you can't get transport directly to it, apart from a cab, which we did on the way back. It took us 2hrs 25mins to get there, by, bus, walk, train, walk.||If I'd known the transport service was so bad, we would not have stayed here.||As far as the motel is concerned, got to say it was was clean, the beds were ok. A bit noisy - could hear the traffic nearby and the neighbours screeching at each other. VERY basic: no fridge (which was a pain for my storing my husband's insulin), no coffee machine (Dunkin' donuts just up the road got a lot of business from us!)||Tony on the desk was FAB!! Really friendly, funny, very helpful, any request was met. ||All in all, not bad, clean, cheap, basic but very...
Read moreI picked this hotel for location only. Close to Bayonne Cruise Port. I kind of new from pictures posted on web site that this was not a 4 star establishment, but was not thinking it was almost a bad part of town. And it has a TRIP ADVISOR Logo on the reception window. Maybe TRIP ADVISOR needs to go back and re-evaluate this property. And lose the Logo completely.||So the room I rented was 2 double very hard beds. Remote for T.V was given to you when you checked in,Strange. Nobody would ever steel this 1980"s T.V. anyways. Bathroom.WOW. Did not dare touch a thing in the shower. Needs complete overhaul. They could not clean the mold growing in the shower walls and grouting area, so what did they do? Cover it up with some kind of new plastic wall. But forgot to bring it down level with tub, so of course you seen what was behind there. Overall I can't recommend this place to anybody. Yes at $200.00 a night, look...
