Worst room i had ever seen and been in. The carpet was not clean and had not been vacuumed...there was dirt..debris and God knows what else embedded in the corners and edges. The room reeked. The toilet was dirty and discusting and the bathroom door handle was broken. To be honest it made us feel dirty just walking through the office door and we had a feeling it wasnt going to be a good experience. The front desk person stunk and was very rude and short with us when aswering simple questions. We told the person at the front desk what we thought of the room...he claimed he was the motel manager, which he clearly shouldn't be, and that he inspects every room and that he would "never let one of his rooms look like that." Yeah...well if thats what he considers to be clean then he might want to think about a different line of work. The super 8 by wyndham chain should be extremely embarassed and use this motel as an example of how NOT to manage one. 122.00 a night for a room that looked and smelled like that is rediculous and the 3 star rating they gave themselves is a super joke....not even worth 1/2 a star. We ate the 122.00 and left because there was no way in hell we were staying. I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE. Go to Spearfish or Deadwood. TRUST ME...YOU WILL BE THANKFULL...

It was ok until I went up to the lobby to get the continental breakfast.. apparently it ended at 9:00 AM but I hadnāt seen a sign saying that, and it was 9:02. I picked up a package of doughnuts and was looking at the other food and the woman from behind the desk immediately came over and grabbed all of the other packages of doughnuts and cookies from in front of me, and also a gallon of milk from out of the cooler, gave me a dirty look and took them all behind the desk.. Iām surprised she didnāt grab the package of doughnuts from out of my hand also! I couldnāt believe her behavior.. she could have just told me politely that the breakfast had ended. I will never stay at this Super 8 again. The man who was at the desk the night before was friendly and helpful. The sign said the motel was privately owner, so Iām guessing the man and woman were husband & wife, because I saw her cleaning rooms later. She needs to learn how to treat her...

Another call back to our booking agent who reconfirmed our reservation. Upon returning we went to the hotel lobby to find it was closed, sign instructed to go to the other door and use lobby phone however lobby phone was broken and repeated phone calls to the same number I had just spoke to the man on, went unanswered. 20 minutes and 7 phone calls later we contacted our booking agent again who then attempted to contact the hotel. As of now we are still waiting....20 more minutes on the parking lot of Super 8 for the booking agent to resch them. We have already paid for the room! We have 1500 miles to drive and will now get very little sleep. The booking agent is just as responsible. If he can not reach the hotel, then he needs to...
