If I could give this place a six I definitely would! I brought my family over here on our tour of the west road-trip; we wished we could stay here for longer as we are only staying one night. When we checked in, we had a very positive experience with Melanie. I always ask about coffee when I go to a new hotel and Melanie stated that she really tries to provide everything we need in the cabin. I didn’t realize how true that statement was. As soon as we walked into the cabin I felt the warmth. The amount of space was also very nice for three people who are tired and exhausted from a road trip. The kitchenette was very useful when making coffee in the morning, as well as hot chocolate for my eleven year old daughter. Everything was very artistic, like the beautiful paintings and soaps that were handcrafted by Bluff Babe, which is apparently the go to place for body care. The TV was also nice for movie watching in the living room. But for us the best part was the handwritten notes and snacks placed out! To sum it up, this is the perfect, affordable, cozy place to stay on...
Read moreAbsolutely exceeding our expectations! The cabins were situated in a tiny town, Bluff, where not many businesses are around. Yet the Bluff Gardens Cabins are a real hidden gem. We stayed in Cabin #6. It's so clean and fresh, and everywhere and everything shows the personal touch from the owners. The handmade craft soap, the paints by the local artists, and the natural wood smell, definitely soothe our tiredness from the road trip. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. We had 6 people, and she instantly realized there were 2 more towels in need, and provided us during our check-in. The cabin was very cozy and clean, and the beds and beddings were very comfortable and equipped with a full kitchenette. There were also some complimentary treats and my kids were happy with the nice surprises. The only downside is we just stayed there for one night. If we had our choice, we definitely would like to stay longer. Yes, I'll tell my friends who will pass by Bluff in the future, and this cabin is the default choice of stay! Good luck with the future development and...
Read moreWe enjoyed the autonomy of staying in a cabin. No obvious noise from other guests. The cabins are spacious. The beds are great. The kitchen area was marvelous for making our own meals in. We travel with a 2 burner electric hot plate so with the ample refrigerator and a good microwave we were set. Melanie advised us to shop before getting to Bluff so we stopped at a Walmart Super center in Pagosa Springs CO on our way there. We stayed for 6 nights and it was our first experience with Netflix. Very nice! We made day trips to Canyonlands National Park, Natural Bridges National Monument, Newspaper rock, Monument Valley, Sand Creek Petroglyphs and the Bluff Cemetery. We also spent a day tooling around the Valley of the Gods and Goose neck State Park. We had toured the Bluff Fort on a previous visit so we didn't take the time to walk across the highway and repeat the experience. The setting of Bluff Gardens is picture perfect combined with a low key rural setting with tremendous visual experiences close at hand makes this is an ideal cabin setting to roost in and...
