Along with another couple, my husband and I had an overnight stay with Charlie and Susan in their wonderful log cabin. On arrival we were offered a glass of beautifully refreshing artisan water which apparently is 2,000 years old by the time it reaches the tap - amazing!! We thereafter spent over an hour chatting with.our hosts who were delightful and so knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. Their cabin was traditionally built, immaculate, and filled with all sorts of books and memorabilia. In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful home cooked breakfast including delicious freshly baked muffins, after which we said our goodbyes and left feeling we were part of an extended family. Susan who runs the house is sweet, intelligent, and a fabulous cook! Read moreI would give it 7 stars if I could!! This was our best place to stay in our Utah/Arizona tour. Susan is a very nice and generous host who welcomed us and treated us like family. The home and rooms are very cozy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and an opportunity for great conversation with the owner and other guests. The house is tucked away from the main road near scenic cliffs, and relaxing on the front porch and in our bedroom was a highlight of our trip. My son and I enjoyed walking around and playing with the pets. I will not hesitate to come back when visiting the Four Corners...
