The parking lot is small and had a van there for several days/nights I was there and they were BBQ in the parking spots closes to the door. There were beer cans and food on the ground from daily parking lot BBQ parties. The locks that allow you into the bldg we're crushed so anyone can just walk in. When I first checked in the attendant was very nice but couldn't do the check in so she called for the manager and he came out to the desk with short short gym shorts, no shirt and flip flops. I picked a non smoking room and all you can smell is weed. The non smoking rooms are on the same hallway as the smoker rooms. Even numbers are non smoking rooms and odd numbers were smoking. There are no elevators, so make sure to get a room downstairs if you can't walk up and down stairs. House keeping never came to our room and when we went to get more towels and garbage bags there a another guest telling the desk that one of the employees was caught going into her stuff. The sheets were stained and bedspread had hard white stains. The carpets had dog hair and mud stains the whole stay. When I took a bag of trash downstairs, since housekeeping never came, and asked where to put it they tell me there a dumpster in the back of the bldg. The manager had to tell the attendant to take the bag and throw it out. The front desk staff was nice, but I would never stay there again nor do I recommend anyone else...
Read moreSo I stayed there for the second time recently as it perfectly spaced for a otr cross country trip, And has parking for larger trucks. When I arrived I realized I had been there before... Couldn’t remember if I had good memories or bad but certainly had memories.Turns out Boonville is more like baneville: Second time I got hit with extra charges. This time it was 50 bucks because the screen was damaged.. Now I argued the charge, and even saw the damage. But did not have video proof so not worth fighting. I’ll tell you this the parking lot between the motel and McDonald’s is active: This time there were a couple kids f’ing in their car in the parking lot. Whatever. Final straw was waking up in the morning and cops all over the place. Lucky to be a deep sleeper and them pounding up and down the hallways early in the morning didn’t interrupt my mojo down the highway. But- not the cleanest rooms, germaphobes beware the bathrooms that need attention (mold in caulking) Not my bent, Overall a clean comfortable bed and personnel were all very professional and kind. This could be a 3+ star place if not for drama. The price is right for a bed in the middle of nowhere, I would simply advise taking video of everything when you arrive since this is the second time I got hit with bogus charges. Then take it for what it is. Safe...
Read moreThe curbs and sidewalks are crumbling and it is obvious there has been no attempt to repair. The website advertises in room coffee but none was provided. They said they only provide coffee makers when requested. So I requested one. The guy went in the back room and came out empty handed. Said he couldn’t find one so I said I would expect an adjustment to my bill. Then I couldn’t get the tv to work. When I went back down to ask about the tv, he had miraculously found a coffee maker. He said logging onto the tv can be complicated so he came to the room with me. Step one was to log onto their WiFi. When I read their terms and conditions it said they and their advertising partners could use my URL and other information they could obtain for perpetuity. All terms and conditions probably say that but I didn’t trust them. We didn’t watch tv. No meaningful breakfast so you are probably going to stop by McDonalds across the street when you check out. The beds were comfortable. If you’re on a Tight budget and only stopping to sleep I get it. Been there. But if you can afford another $10 or $15 dollars drive on to Columbia where you will have a much better selection and a...
