Great weekend tent camping with the dogs at Redwood Resort RV Park. Professionally run, clean and organized. Cash/check only, so we were a little nervous that our phone reservation wouldn't be found... but no problem. We rolled up Friday and they had us down in their book. We stayed under the redwoods with our three dogs and loved it, but saw the families with kids camp and play in the big meadow. Kids also enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Standing charcoal BBQ's and picnic tables at every site. No campfires due to fire risk. Thought we would miss this but we really didn't. Clean shower and bathroom. Quiet at 10pm - good sleeping! We paid $40/nite all-in. You wanna party all night? Not your place. You wanna be camping alone in the remote wilderness? Not your spot. You want a clean, organized, family-friendly place to camp then go to this RV (and tent) Park. Campers were a mix of families with young kids and teenagers, couples and a few groups of friends. Very dog friendly - they gave our pooches dog biscuits for good behaviour. ; ) Close enough to walk to Boulder Creek which has several cute restaurants, bars, grocery stores (including organic) and hardware stores. 20min drive to Santa Cruz. Spacious camp sites, tent and trailer. Very nice hosts. Note that a few long-time residents are living there in large RVS or cabins, but these are very tidy and nicely cared for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redwood Resort RV Park in Boulder Creek. The campground itself was not that big, which we enjoyed, we felt more like guests than stuffed into a huge venue. The quiet hours were observed, clean bathrooms/showers, surroundings, pool and various yard games available. We loved the easy walk into atmospheric Boulder Creek, easy access to laundry facilities and the quaint local towns up and down the Hwy 9. The Japanese restaurant in town is recommended, as is Aroma in nearby Ben Lomond. (Tuesday Tacos, there, are a hit, but their regular menu outstanding, also.) Don't miss live music at the Brookdale Lodge, along with free popcorn and locals. There is a lot to recommend in this little hideaway, and I will echo the praises of John, the manager. He's a gem!

My wife and I spent four wonderful days at the Redwood Resort RV Park in May 2025. One of the best parts was the care and consideration of the staff, specifically manager John Watson. John greeted us on arrival and made sure we were welcomed and had all the information we needed to get set up. He offered ideas about local points of interest, and places to get groceries. During our stay he checked in with us to make sure we were doing ok, and as we left he was there to assist us. John even went above and beyond by helping us locate an item we had left behind, and kindly agreed to mail it to us the next day. That is the kind of customer service that is rare these days, and it makes us know that we will be coming back soon.

I love reading reviews so I can get the feel for places. I read two negative reviews one about getting kicked out and the other about long term people living there. Those reviews were so irrelevant! This place deserves all the 5 stars. We arrived early in the heat and had a campsite that was more on the sunny side in the back. The nice host up front allowed us to change to a really beautiful spot (my personal favorite) that was open for our stay, more shaded coverage. Thoughtful of her. This gem of a spot was actually pretty close to a long term living space. We were completely unbothered by them and it didn’t ruin the redwood experience at all. Very family friendly, based off one review I was concerned we’d get kicked out with a 2 year old toddler throwing tired tantrums past quiet time. Well ours threw a tired fit on the last day, trying to calm with our best efforts lasting about 20mins. We were unbothered and no one complained. This place is VERY well kept. No trash in our campsite. Everywhere we go there’s always something but not this place. Theres unheated pool ( so hot no need for heat) , ping pong, bat mitten and even corn hole! even WIFI!! They also had a sink for dishes( provided soap) and private and/or shared bathrooms./showers. No coins needed. They have clean restrooms & provide soap(lots of places don’t have soap). In my personal opinion the state parks don’t compare to this place. Not very far from roaring camp either if you wanna ride the trains. We were almost done cleaning our site while meeting a new friend with two mins left the host was walking by for check outs she just smiled and let us finishing cleaning up. We left the site but stayed to talk to our new friends . I love that she didn’t push us out. Bring a fire pit as there’s so group fires. I’m gonna be sad when we go camping again and the place isn’t as clean or nice as this one. Thankyou! Will be...

WOW!!! I have lived here since June of 2015. I live in the permedent Side in one of the cabins. I couldnt DISAGREE with you more. I have no clue how it is on the RV side but where the houses are is quite, clean, great neighbors, NO HOMELESS, Joe has taken care of any problem that we have had proply. If you lived on the RV side, as you said I dont now why you would think that Joe has an abligation to keep you comfortable. I believe that would be your job since hes only renting you the space. I do how ever agree with you some what regarding Steve the maintance man. I will not go on about saying negitive things when all in all this is a great place to live. I love it, when the campers come during the summer. Everyone I see which is all, they look as if they were having a great time. Keep in mind the friends you keep says alot about you. Thank you fornot being herewhen I moved here....
