Tasty food at reasonable prices! My girlfriend and I enjoyed the specialty menus – vegetarian for her, keto for me. I'm always on the hunt for Chinese food with no added sugar. The Szechuan beef was spicy and delicious, with lots of vegetables. The Dan Dan Noodles were a little more like Chow Mein than the Dan Dan Noodles you get in SF, but the peanut sauce was tasty. Can't say there was any Szechuan peppercorn flavor in either dish. The only downside for us is the paper plates, both because they are single-use and just not all appetizing to eat from.

The food was good, but the friendly service from the owner was fantastic! We will return just based on the care and concern from the owner.. service these days in most places has lost the understanding that they are supposed to be pleasant and quick..this owner understands that. We did really enjoy the garlic prawns and egg rolls. The udon soup was good, not the best I have had, but I still ate it all. Way better than the nasty Felton Chinese place.

Ordered the seschuan chicken. Mostly vegetables, with a few pieces of chicken. The sauce was very sweet, with overtones of ketchup. Didn't taste anything like what I've ordered from other Chinese restaurants. The pork dumplings had very thick dough, and almost seemed like they were deep fried. The hot and sour soup was pretty good, maybe a bit sour.

They were absolutely slammed on Christmas Day and as a new customer that’s speaks volumes to me about the quality and praise of the food.

It was a rather long wait, but well worth it. I watched the employees handle the incredibly busy flow of customers so well. The mass amounts of online orders, phones orders, and in person orders would’ve had any one at a loss for words, but the staff here was so great at communication, were very empathetic about the long wait times, and even handled it all in a friendly manner with their friendly customers.

I saw a few people be a bit rude towards them (which I do not at all condone) But even with the customers much needed attitude adjustment and lack of manners, the cashier just kept on being sweet and kind for the remainder of the evening. Working customer service myself, it’s so very difficulty to deal with cruddy customers and have it not alter the rest of your shift or your demeanor in the least bit.

Overall, food was great, service was lovely. Large servings, very flavorful. Also the banter between the staff and the regulars was incredibly wholesome and refreshing.

You all killed it for being so busy on Christmas Day, especially considering you spent your time away from your own families to feed ours. Very much...

They are extremely friendly, hardworking and ethical. The food is always good and the service excellent. The online ordering from the website is fast, convienient and fast. Did I mention it's fast? For the past 3 years Ive been a customer of the Red Pearl all but once ordering take out. Only 1 time did they made a mistake and a minor mistake at best. When I mentioned it they not only offered to remake it if I wanted to come back to get it but said it would be on the house to which I refused. The next time I ordered I didnt mention anything because it was such a minor mistake (putting sauce on the side instead of on the meal) I had forgotten about it. When went to pick the food up I noticed they didnt charge me for the same item. I said I would be happy to pay for it and they insisted it was free. All this effort to make up for a very minor mistake after serving me 50-60 perfect meals! This place should be a business model of any company that cares about quality service, quality products and business integrity. I ended up putting the cost of them item in the tip jar anyway because its a pleasure to be a patron of a...

Boy, Boy Oh Boy.

Every time I've been to the Pearl, it's been amazing. The fried asparagus dish is amazing and their sauces are typically familiar and comfortable.

But yesterday was bad. Really bad. I made the drive from SJ just to go to the pearl, I was excited. I get there, and there's a new cashier. No big problem, Order my food and go to sit down- there's mounds of rice on the table from the last folks that were there.

No worries, I'll sit at a different table.

Rice there too. WTF. Have to go up and ask new cashier to clean the tables. No big deal, annoying, but not terrible.

Wait for my food to come out and she brings the wrong order. I go up to get the order fixed and she refuses to correct the issue, so I have to order again to get the dish that I actually wanted.

Finally they bring the lemon chicken out and the sauce has absolutely no flavor, no sweet, no lemon- it tastes like warm water. I've never been so disappointed with a meal here. 40 dollars of food that I was so disappointed with I just walked out and left it there.

I'll be back one more time to see if I just caught them on a bad day, I...
