Pointe Royale Condo Vacation and Golf Resort — Hotel in Branson

While our apartment/condo was beautiful (on Avondale dr.), our security was not. At about 2:30am, a woman clearly on meth or some other strong drug, jumped the low point of the fence and jumped on about 10 residence cars screaming at the top of her lungs that snakes were getting her. She used a wrench to hit the cars she was on top of to get those snakes. She broke our windshield in two places. The police were GREAT, however, the management team at Point Royale made is clear they could not care less. What is the point of living/renting in a guarded gated community? And if you think this is a one time incident, think twice before renting here. There is a "Breaking Bad" trailer park just behind the wooded area where I'm sure this woman lives. I'm giving you the short version. It was much scarier with my 5 and 8 year old witnessing it...then having to give then the "drug talk". She was dangerous...she pulled a knife of the police woman. I don't feel safe...

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Pointe Royale. The 1st time was great. This time, total disappointment from the moment of check in. When I originally made these reservations, I specifically asked for a screened porch. The employee stated I would need to upgrade from deluxe to luxury which I agreed to do. Upon check in the 1st thing I noticed was a patio, no screens. When I called the office and talked to a manager, she stated it cannot be guaranteed. Then why was I told to upgrade? Almost $600 for 3 nights but I was willing to pay it for the screened porch. This was a once in a lifetime trip with 4 generations of girls in my family. The manager tried to assure me they don't have many bugs. Really? I'm from Kansas, not another country. The bugs don't stop at the state line. I'm from the area. Will try The Falls next time that actually specifies what you will be getting...

Before we even got to are condo we where greeted by this very rude lady at the front gate. We where just trying to get some infomation and she gave nothing but additude. She probaley needs to work on her cusromer service if she is going to keep dealing with customers especially if that's the first face your going to see. The condo we stay 1007 the very first night the toliet overflowed all over the floor. We called the front desk to ask for assistance and they acted like it wasn't there problem and where very rude about it. We cleaned it up but called back up there to get a plunger again they where very rude about it.The bed in the regular not the master was like sleeping on a rock plus the fact it squeaked all night the whole trip for no reason. Worse condo I've ever stayed in. So if you want an awful place to stay while in Branson I suggest the Pointe...
