This was by far the worst experience I have ever had on a golf course.
We were scammed, belittled, and expelled from The course due to employee error.
We had 2 tee times.
12:40 & 12:50 for 2 groups of 3.
When we arrived to the course we asked the employees if we could play a 3v3 best ball scramble. We were instructed to ask the starter before we went off if we could do so.
The starter approved and watched all 6 of us tee off one after another. Best ball ready golf.
Golf is going great pace or place was fast since were aren’t bad golfers.
We get to the 3rd hole no problem Not a group within 2 holes of us. We tee off on the 3rd hole and then the “ club pro” comes out to us and begins belittling us. Talking to us like we are teenagers in high school.
“ who’s gonna tell me what yall are doing wrong”
and proceeded to keep asking the same question over and over. We then tell him what we were told by pro shop and the starter. We then offer to split up to 3 & 3 since we had 2 tee times, but seems that wasn’t ok for him and his ego. he then began trying to remove single individuals from our group while being very unprofessional.
He then told us to go back to the pro shop and proceeded to escalate the situation much further than it needed to be by telling us we would have to leave without getting our money back. Meaning we were all out $100 for the round.
After dealing with the head director of the community the “ golf pro” came back out to us and proceeded to “ attempt” to give us a voucher ( dated for a year from today) after we asked for refunds instead.
the “ golf pro” then proceeded to escalate the situation 10 fold saying he would only give refunds to rule followers and smirking while getting a rise out of each of us and even began to yell at a minor for talking to him “ like a kid”.
There was several members of our group that did not say a Word To the “ golf pro “ and proceeded to be robbed of our money and our pride.
The worst told experience I’ve ever had in my entire life on a golf course. I wish nothing but the best for the starter and the grounds crew but they need a serious reality check in the pro shop. (maybe even some...
Read moreWell....... The property appears beautiful from the outside. My room was fairly clean but very dated. When we got here, the AC was leaking into the 1st bathroom. The MX guy got here within 10 minutes and was friendly. He was here fixing the AC and the kitchen light 3 hours. He said he would be back the next day to get his fan but never came so....there was a box fan sitting in the bathroom, the whole time. Went to sleep with the air never reading below 78 and it was muggy. I had children staying here with asthma and eczema (not a good combo in muggy places). Went to sleep and woke up the next morning to NO IRON, which is listed on what should be in every room. Good part is, they got it there in 5 minutes but it seems as if the attendant didn't believe me. The pools were nice. I dropped my phone behind the couch and had to move it to get it. I saw chicken bones, a dead moth, an old bandaid and a bag of souvenirs from 3/25/17!!!! The cleaning service hasn't vacuumed back there since, at least, 3/25!! After then, my feelings towards this place got worse. I paid $130 a night, PLUS, a $75 CLEANING FEE. Looking around that morning, the dishwasher still had dishes from the last renter because the cleaning crew never checked it. Won't be coming back........ and I feel like they OWE me some of my money back. I have pictures...
Read moreCourse is well taken care of, and challenging. Seriously fun course, though. There are several holes where playing straight is a must, or you’ll have a rough time finding your ball. The marshal runs a tight ship, and you have to keep up pace here, so be aware and don’t spend too long searching for an errant shot. Take a drop and have a good time.
We had one very unfortunate incident where we collapsed on a par 3 and my first shot was horrible. Really flopped it. Had to hit from the “fairway” onto the green. A guy from the group behind us yells, “Let’s GO!” at the top of his lungs from the tee box as I’m in my backswing. My bro-in-law was taking the long way as he caught a bad slice, trekking up to the green, maybe that annoyed him? We were pretty upset at that jerk and seriously considered confronting him for that behavior when the marshal drove up at the next hole and we told him happened. He said the guy was a member and we were doing great on pace, and he was very good at defusing our irritation. The angry dude probably called the marshal on us, who knows. The annoyance/aggravation made me up my game somehow, and by the 18th I was about 2 inches away from an eagle. Thanks angry yelling guy, wherever you are.
Nice course, serious marshals, at least one really rude member...good times. Thanks...
