Nice place, quiet, room was comfortable, check in was fast and easy but the person on evening duty didn't know much about the area when we asked for places for dinner. We stayed there as an RCI members but wasn't equipped with coffee condiments as most places are and no local coffee places for miles. Nice creek in the back, pool was open and hot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Cedarbrook Killington. Location is geographically perfect. A scenic 10 minute drive to most area attractions/restaurants. Furnishings not fancy, but compliment the surroundings. Friendly innkeepers. A “Babbling Brook” flows past the sloping backyard, steps away from the rooms slider window and porch.

Easy to find. The pool is 95 degrees. Absolutely marvelous on a crisp fall day. Room is large with queen size bed, full size pull out couch, dresser and table with 2 chairs. Patio door is great amenity to the picturesque setting along the creek.

Overall just very underwhelming compared to other options in the area. Personally we won't be coming back to this place due to the dated rooms and lack of disclosure of fees when booking with RCI.

Pros -

rooms were spacious. Basically they took two standard motel size rooms and combined into one suite. One side of our space had 2 full size beds and a bath off of that. The other side had a couch tv and small kitchen and a bathroom off that area.

Location is convenient to access Killington and restaurants.

Room was clean upon arrival.

Outside is dated, but in a quirky 60's/70's kind of way. I liked the funky red lights.

Cons -

Rooms are very dated. The carpet, linens and shower heads all feel like 1983 (maybe even earlier given the outside looks like the late 60's).

The bathrooms are clean and updated to the minimum. Meaning it looked like they covered the tub and shower sides in plastic but didn't bother with the hardware like the shower head and facet handles. Too bad cause those final touches would have made a difference. Also mold on the ceilings in both bathrooms.

Blankets are very old and motel grade. Carpet was very old.

No service in room during our stay.... we don't expect full cleaning because we booked as a condo/RCI rental. We know it's not the same as a hotel room. However there is usually a refresh of towels. We did not have that happen.

We booked through RCI and had to pay an initial fee to book this place. Which is the normal RCI process and it's a fee that I think goes to RCI.

However!! At checkout we were surprised with a "change over fee" of 35 dollars because we were only staying the weekend and not a week?!? Not sure what this would have included cause we had no services that warrants an additional fee. This fee not was this disclosed at check-in which was my biggest issue with it.

You can hear everything in the rooms from the hallway. So... Keep that in mind.

Kitchen is very minimal. No coffee provided (something most RCI places give you), no stove, no...

On April 2, 2022. I made a reservation online for Unit 204 at Cedarbrook Killington with two queen beds. The reservation was confirmed by Killington Rental Associates. On April 15, 2022, I received another email from Cedarbrook listing my reservation but for unit 216 with two double beds at the same price. I called to ask about this discrepancy and was told very rudely by the receptionist that they'd made the error because they were switching computer systems, that they shouldn't have listed the two queen bed unit, that there were now no other two queen units available except one by the waste treatment that smelled like sewage, and that there was nothing they would do to rectify their mistake. I explained that I made the reservation two weeks earlier in good faith, received a confirmation, that we were four big adults needing queen not double beds. I was then told on April 25, 2022 by the general manager Lisa Jameson that they were unwilling to honor my original reservation, would cancel the new one if I wanted, and would not offer any compensation (despite it being over three weeks later and rooms at other hotels having since been booked). We had to stay in the two double bed unit and were cramped and...

Avoid this place at all costs, trust me. Went up there with my significant other for a weekend away and when we got there, found our $300/night “room” was half of a suite they had broken into 2 and we were essentially staying in the living room portion of. And we could hear every word of the people staying in the other side which was VERY creepy. There was no bed. I kid you not. NO BED. There was a pullout couch. And worse, not even a good pullout couch. It makes your grandmas pullout couch from 1962 look like a Tempurpedic. The pillows were stuffed in the TV console (disgusting). Called the desk and asked for a bed and was told they had no other options. Can you believe that? Asking for a bed at a place you’re already spending $300/night and being told they don’t have one? Would’ve been better off sleeping in the back of my truck. Also, place was gross and pool smelled weird. Seriously avoid this place! Sad excuse for a hotel, wish the owners would value their customers over squeezing every penny down to the fact they would split a subpar suite...
