Read moreWow! What an experience! We came in from Daytona Beach with a bachelor party of 8 and these guys were top notch professionals all the way! Bill, behind the counter, was a whiz on the register with his fingers fluently stroking the keyboard almost as if he was writing the next great American novel that would rival Hemingway and Chaucer. Next, we were ushered into a small room for our safety briefing with Klaus, who had a neatly trimmed salt and pepper goatee that would make any mid 40’s divorced woman swoon. We had several ethnicities in our tour and Klaus proceeded to give the safety briefing in 4 different languages which included French, Spanish and Mandarin. He was obviously a well cultured man with a taste for fine red wine and aged cheeses. After our very informative safety briefing, we were ready to claim our snowmobiles and shred the fresh 4-6 inches of gnar that the good lord blessed us with the previous evening. Our guides were Jeremy and Max. Both men presented with a knowledgeable and heroic demeanor. Jeremy was an obvious seasoned vet. During the few breaks between shredding the fresh pow, he would often smoke a pipe, carved out of ivory, given to him by the children of a small village outside Sudan and bestow epic life advice onto us, not unlike a father to his adolescent offspring. Max, on the other hand, is a young, energized upstart who had just moved here from the Midwest. I don’t know the whole story, but apparently he was exhiled from his hometown for trying to organize a highschool dance in a town that outlawed music. Anyway...the ride was epic! We definitely got to send it on the slopes and really get after it! I highly suggest the 2hr run that starts at 4pm. You won’t be disappointed! We shredded some serious gnar and definitely SENT IT at speeds that topped out at 69 mph. All these guys were top notch and I’d highly suggest them and even trust them with my...
Read moreWow! This place is awesome. Our group had a reservation with another outfit who ended up being a joke. Called asked if we would be able to SEND IT, the response I got was, "as long as you keep them out of the trees". Snowmobile Vermont was more than happy to accommodate our party of 8 for a 2 hour Backcountry tour at 4 o'clock.
The trails were amazing up the mountain and through ski trails. Klaus explained, his outfit has an agreement with Killington Ski Resort to rip the trails throughout the ski resort after they close.
Machines were extremely well kept up with. 'Definitely a big upgrade from my Yamaha Enticer although my old ET is pretty legit. Snowmobile Vermont has some of the nicest sleds i've seen anywhere. My hands are still toasty from the heated grips. Did I mention we reached speeds of over 69 mph while shreddin?
Max and Jermey were our guides and trust me when I tell you they know how to SEND IT! We shredded the gnar and tore up that mountain.
When we returned we were suggested several restaurants in the area. Ended up at the Wobbly Barn, wow what a great orgasm in my mouth!
Overall, this was a great experience and I will be back on my next...
