I am reviewing this hotel as the class of hotel it rated at which is a 2 star hotel class. The good: Friendly staff Clean updated room Hot water Very comfortable bed Great pillows Great television selections Strong internet connection The not so good but not terrible: Thin sheets and lack of good comforter Road noise Could use better lighting in parking lot Bathroom towels a bit thin To start from check-in I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the front lobby and J. Patel the manager checked me in and was extremely pleasant and kind and was handled quickly. After checking in I parked where Mr. Patel had instructed me to do so. The back of the parking lot could use a little more lighting but was sufficient enough to see in the night hours. The non-smoking room upon entering was chilly but very clean and appeared to be updated/remodeled somewhat recently. The bathroom and vanity were both very clean. I turned the small AC/heater on heat to heat the room and it heated very quickly. A small flat screen tv mounted in the wall with a new smoke detector placed above it. Direct tv with a lot of channels including HBO/Showtime and I believe Cinemax is included with your stay. Bed linens were a bit thin and lacked a decent comforter but the bed itself was very comfortable. The pillows were fluffy and plentiful. Beside the bed they swapped out bed lights and updated with USB access for charging phones etc. The access to the room is older style motels with outside access so road noise was a bit of a problem so I just left the fan running all night to drown out the road noise. Overall for the price I would stay here again and would recommend this place to fellow co workers or friends when in the area.

We stayed when severe storms threatened our camping plans, making it difficult to find accommodations. We were fortunate to secure a clean and tidy ground floor $99/nt room at this establishment. The breakfast options were self-serve and uncomplicated, and the breakfast area was also kept clean. The hostess cinnamon bun, Raisin Bran cereal, apples, and Texas-shaped waffles provided by them were particularly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lobby computer was out of order, but the front desk staff, who had been on-call for days, remained helpful and friendly. Despite the challenges they faced, the staff managed to maintain a well-run establishment. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

My son and I stayed at the Rodeway while participating in the Total Archery Challenge (TAC) at Beavers Bend state park over the weekend. So, I guess the best way to put this would be if you are planning to spend time lazing around the hotel, this is not the place. However, if you want a nice clean room with comfortable beds and a hot shower for a reasonable price, this is the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when advising on good places to eat. For our purpose, they definitely deserved and earned 5 stars. We will be going back for the TAC next year and definitely staying with the folks at the Rodeway for sure.

MOLDY AND ARACHNID HELL! The decor and remodel of the room were like in the pictures but looking closer, it was very cheaply done. The room had a moldy smell to it and the culprit was a moldy shower curtain in the bathroom that was way too small. There were stains on the coverlet and the walls. Then, there were the 3 Brown Recluse spiders that we killed. We killed 2 small ones the night we stayed and in the morning killed the huge one. We couldn't get out of there fast enough! We were only staying there until we got into our cabin the next day. I later discovered 3 bite marks on my jawline and had to go to a doctor to get treatment and meds. This was NOT a lovely start to our family vacation! The manager was rude and stated that they spray every month and the hotel is outdoors. Huh?! My son had a nosebleed and they wanted to charge me for the sheets! Blood comes out with cold water and hydrogen peroxide. Anyone in the hotel business should know how to get out stains. Just saying! I would never recommend this horrible motel to anyone. I would love a refund for the medical bills I had to expend because of their spider infestation! By the way, we stayed in a cabin in the woods and didn't see a single spider or insect inside the cabin, so I highly doubt the hotel had been spraying for bugs. Oh and I highly doubt I will be hearing from the GM since he ONLY responds to the positive comments. SMH. My advice...stay elsewhere, anywhere...

Broken Bow Inn wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. The staff was all very nice and quite helpful. They were accommodating and pleasant. Everything in the room worked and the hotel was very clean. The room did have a microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee maker so it had a few amenities. I didn't care for the location of our room as we had to park quite a ways away from the room and make several trips to carry our things to the room. They did allow pets for an additional daily fee. The exterior of the building looked dated and a little rundown. The included breakfast was pretty much a fail. All they had was 2 containers of cereal that looked like they came out of the desk clerk's kitchen cabinet, and a display with some pre-packaged muffins and some danish with orange juice and milk. The pool wasn't open but it is February so that is understandable. I read a review that said the pool was closed in June so I'm guessing the pool isn't ever open, but it did have a decent covering and it was fenced in. There was a game room/arcade that looked like it was straight out of the 80s. None of the games were turned on and everything was really dusty. It looked more like a storage room than a game room. Overall, the price of the room ($69 per night) was in line with the quality of the facility and I would probably stay here again but it would not be my first choice. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for 1/2 of what...
