I would say this is the best restaurant in Broken Bow. The ambience is warm and welcoming, service is top notch and food will make you come back. The waitress, Keesha was an absolute delight. If you're confused about the menu, she will give out the best recommendations and trust her on that. She recommended us to try out the combo, which had steak for 2, 2 separate sides and 2 separate access to the salad bar. Best deal right? The most assuring part about the restaurant was the locals eating there. It felt like a family reunion when people from all tables kept talking to each other and sharing a banter. Imagine eating there regularly and yet being excited about it? Has to be good yea? what we ordered: sirloin for 2 (steaks made perfectly as requested) side of fried okra (not the best okra I've had but pretty crispy) side of mashed potato (brown sauce made to perfection) salad bar (Try it and thank me later) Unfortunately didn't get to try their coconut dessert, may be next time. Look out for my next review!

Great food and atmosphere. Steaks were all cooked as requested and of good quality and flavor. The add on shrimps were great additions as well. Broccoli and cheese soup was yummy, and the beers in frosted glasses were delightful. The server was super nice and friendly as was the cashier. The only thing I could say could use improvement is the slow process. Lots of wait times, to be seated, to get bowls for salad bar, to check out and pay. This was probably due to it being being busy or understaffed, and it wasn't any major waits (5 minutes tops), but yeah just something we noticed was happening for Most of the costumers. Also the pies and cakes are all delicious!

This is about as local as it gets!! You know a restaurant is going to be good when all the locals are eating there. It didn't have a gift shop though as the name leads you to believe. I had a Salmon dinner & my husband had a Cheeseburger 🍔 The salad 🥗 bar is amazing and has tons of stuff so I would definitely recommend it. Our waitress was so kind. I recommend trying the tomato relish. They should sell it to go because we loved it!! My salmon had an amazing dill sauce and a delicious pop over served with it. I loved it all. Beautiful view in the back of a pasture.

It all started as soon as I walked in. I stood at the door and there was two ladies at the front counter not one said anything or seated me. After a while a young lady asked if it was just me I said yes. She walked off and setup a table. I was confused because she didn’t say anything after setup the table or before she walked off! So I just went and sat down. Then the lady (server) asked for my drink and then went to get it (I thought) after about 10 min she brought it out and said she basically the only server and it got busy. I understood and was not upset. I ordered my foot a steak medium rare and waited if finally came out and she took my drink to refill and forgot to bring it back out. I also needEd a fork and she was running around so I waited and waited. I used a spoon to cut open the steak and it was well well done, she said she was sorry she was going to fix it. So back to waiting! It came out and it was rare. She said let me fix it. I said no it’s fine. As I was waiting each time I looked around and as a multi business owner (5) I guessing the two older ladies that were standing around at the front door might be owners or mangers. Now I seen my server go to them and talked about my problems. At that point they should of came and talked to me or offer a discount or something. They should also stepped in with other tables and to take the load off there server. The one lady was more worried about putting Christmas decorations up instead of service. Not sure if I will be back to this place again but I hope this review opens a eye to the owners. I paid over $40 for a meal that to me was not worth it. I just ate it because I needed to eat and get going.

I did read the reviews and noticed they tell customers to say something. Well I did and the owner or mangers didn’t really do much. So why tell people to say something if your don’t do something. I would love to chat with a...

I'm from out of state and took my family here to eat today 3/15 . If I had known this establishment wasn't so KID FRIENDLY I would have went elsewhere. The older lady up front came to our table to tell us to keep MY 3yr old quiet cause she couldn't hear on the phone. First of all let me see a 3yr old be quiet in that type of environment where everyone was loud. After we ate and I paid we were about to leave, I politely said Ma'am if kids are a problem why don't you just sit them all in the back. Then she try to say she had 4 complaints, that isn't what she said at first and she only came to our table once!! Kids will be loud just as the whole place was loud!! I didn't see you going to each table and telling them to be quiet. So as a visitor I will NOT bring my business here again. Also I didn't raise my voice to you and I didn't appreciate you raising your voice to me as I was walking away. But then again it shows what type of person she was...and you want to talk about my child screaming? So as stated here is my review.

As for the waitress didn't get a name was great and very friendly. Thank you for serving my babies first!

As for your response below, your ignorance is showing as an owner and a person! What offended me was the way this lady handle the advice I suggested. She didn't asked him to be little quiet, she said to keep him quiet there is a difference. Us 4 adults heard...

Black diners: eat here at your own risk! My friends and I visited this restaurant on December 13th, 2024, while traveling. We chose it based on decent reviews and wanted a quick meal. The experience started off okay—the waitress seemed nice. We ordered appetizers and full meals.

The fried pickles weren’t great, so I sent them back after one bite but kept everything else. I had fried catfish, which was amazing—perfectly cooked! My salad was good too. However, the chopped sirloin steak I ordered (medium, with onions and bell peppers) came out well done, and the curly fries were bland. I sent it back, and although I didn’t ask for a refund, the waitress seemed agitated and immediately mentioned it would still be on my ticket. Her tone felt dismissive, which I didn’t appreciate.

The drinks weren’t great either—sweet tea was bitter, and lemonade was overly sweet. Everything we sent back remained on the bill, which wasn’t the issue—it was how the situation was handled. My friends and I felt unwelcome, especially since we were the only Black people in the restaurant. The vibe from the waitress made us uncomfortable, and it felt like she was annoyed with us from the start.

My friends’ meals were okay overall, though one friend’s steak was under-seasoned. This could’ve been a pleasant experience if the service had...
