After a 4 hour drive, we get to the hotel ready to relax. We got into our room, the door wouldn't even close so we immediately locked it. There were about 15 people arguing outside our room and we were afraid. We then looked at the bed. There was no box spring, cigarette holes all through the comforter, if you even want to call it that. Walked to check out the bathroom, the towels in the bathroom were a grey color instead of being white. I then noticed what seemed to be hair in the sink. I took a towel and it started moving. Right then and there we decided to leave the hotel and find another one. I went to the front desk and no one was there. There was another couple waiting and they kept calling the front desk and nothing. The arguing outside was getting louder and I told the other people waiting, who obviously knew the front desk person that we were leaving and left the card and ran to my car. I tried calling after that, no answer, I tried calling the next day, no answer. I called Motel 6 directly today, she put me on hold to call the facility, she came back on the phone and said no one is answering her either.

I reserved my room on the phone with the 800 number from May 12-15 and was told there was space to park our motorhome. Upon arriving, it was a gated parking lot which was small and almost impossible to turn around much less find a place for our car trailer. We're got into the room and damn near fell because the floor was warped and raised. While on the floor, I got a close up view of the baseboards which looked like a 3-year old installed them. The bathroom had so much mold, I couldn't bring myself to use it. The freezer had mold! No idea how that happened. I asked for a new room and was told there were no clean rooms. It was 4 PM and threw were MAYBE 15 cars in the parking lot. We had to sleep in a room within mold spores and it makes no sense why. The second room was okay until I found what looked like a dead rat on the bed frame. The staff seemed very annoyed that I dared to complain or ask for things to be right. I'll NEVER... EVER stay here again.

This is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had at a motel. I booked this hotel about a month in advance strictly do to the proximity to the wedding that I was going to be in town to attend. The staff is rude & the rooms are disgustingly dirty! Here is my experience.

I was told over the phone that check in is at 2pm, upon arriving at 3pm, I was told that she had to check and see if the room was ready. What? Check in was an hour ago...but uhhh OK. She takes her sweet time and returns about 10 minutes later and says it's ready but for us to excuse the bags of trash in front of the room. What? OK. Then she tries to run our debit card and then finally says that there is no signal, so we ask to pay in cash. At 6 months pregnant and traveling for two hours, I have to pee and am irritated that this is now coming on 20 minutes for a simple check in. She's the only one at the desk and there are two other people in line behind us. She then even has the nerve to answer the phone in front of my face and take a reservation instead of putting them on hold and finishing up with us. She finishes up and then gives us a dry "sorry for the wait."

Fast forward, we get to the room and it is SO dirty. There were piles of dirt/trash in three separate areas. The kind of dirt that looks like it had been left behind due to inadequate sweeping. The room smelled musty and there were stains on the comforter & what appears to be food stains on the walls. Later, when pulling the spread back, I see two, rather large cigarette burns. Which, outside of being tacky & unacceptable, I reserved a NON SMOKING room, so that has me wondering. We get back from the wedding that night and go to take showers and my boyfriend's towel is completely shredded on one end!! It looked like a rag, and I could not believe that this was rolled up and in the bathroom for our use. It was a RAG, like I felt like we were in prison. My boyfriend went to complain and bring back fresh towels that were in one piece and we were told that we could not get any towels because "housekeeping was gone for the day and they don't live on the property." What? I've NEVER been to a hotel or motel in which I could not get an extra towel if I needed it regardless of the hour. So, he comes back with the same raggedy towel and the girl at the front desk who was wearing a BONNET (for sleeping) on her head gave him serious attitude and lied about contacting us and management. We have all of this on video and I plan to take this further.

Not only were we treated poorly, the room was so filfthy that I wouldn't even want my dog to stay there, let alone two human beings who paid MONEY to stay there. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at and I will not be returning. This establishment should be closed down or it needs to be under new management. I will post photos &...

This motel gave me the worst experience EVER in my entire life. I make reservations for resorts in Myrtle Beach SC and I have never seen such despicable accommodations. The room was not cleaned properly as there were still ashes by the bed, dried gum on the chair, and pubic hair on the seat of the toilet. The bathroom floor towel was damp like it had just be used and the remote control was so dirty that I used the numb of my finger to navigate through the channels. The door to the room looked as if it was kicked in to the point that you could fit a finger through to the other side. You could see through the cracks of the door! I went to the front desk where there was another young lady upset about her room that had pool of blood and urine stains on them. They accommodated her with another room (the least they could do), but after speaking to the manager, the receptionist told me that I had been in my unit for more than 15 minutes and that it was too late for a change of room or a refund. The manager then further indicated that the room door was not as all as I described (I have pictures). I slept in that filthy room that night, unsafe and uncomfortable. I attempted to speak to the manager the next morning who blew me off when the receptionist told him I was there to speak to him and told her he would be in the office in five minutes, only to have another guest tell me he was standing directly outside of the lobby area. Feeling like he was avoiding the situation with my room and my issues, I just decided to leave rather than wait on a manager that obviously didn't care in the first place. Before leaving that room, I took detailed pictures of how the room was presented to me and will be sending them to corporate. The rooms were updated with new furniture and paint, but if the rooms aren't going to be kept, then what was the purpose?! And why make all those changes to the inside and not get new doors to the rooms to keep your guests safe and highlight the renovations you have already made. Being an updated unit was not high on my priority list because I understood that I was in a motel, but I at least expect a clean room and door for privacy. I drove home 8 hours away without proper sleep and the possibility to freshen up in a clean bathroom facility. I am expecting to be swept up under the rug by this particular location, so I am prepared to go to corporate. I believe in customer service and someone will be held accountable for the experience I...

If you are reading this from the hotel, run to the front desk and get your refund! You only have 15 minutes from check-in to get a refund. We arrived late and were looking forward to a night's sleep in a simple, clean room. Our first surprise was the security gate to enter or exit the parking. Our next surprise was that the clerk was behind a (bulletproof?) glass wall. I didn't feel good about the situation, but I hoped for the best. However, we decided to leave our suitcases in the car until checking the room. Our first room smelled of smoke. There were cigarette burns on the bed covers, and the bed sheets smelled as if they hadn't been washed. We saw a dead bug on the floor and immediately went to the front desk. Our second room had little live spiders in the sink. I flushed them down the sink and continued my inspection. This time, when I pulled back the sheets, one bed seemed to be clean, but the other had a poop stain. We were so tired. Then we saw another bug on the floor and went to the front desk again. We asked to see another room, but the clerk said that the other rooms wouldn't be any better. She offered a refund. When I asked for a refund, she said she needed my credit card. She took my credit card and went into another room where I couldn't see what she was doing. I'm worried that she was writing down my card information, as she didn't need to leave the room when she initially billed me. She came back and gave me a receipt and said that the refund would take a week to be processed. I checked my online banking and found that it had been processed immediately. We exited the compound and sat in the car looking for hotels. It was pouring rain, but we decided to leave the area. We went to a hotel that cost nearly double, but it was clean and comfortable. We probably would have found something better had we booked in advance. I have attached photos of the bugs in both rooms. Motel 6 really needs to revoke this motel's...
