From this start this hotel was interesting. The entry was was packed with pallets of toilets and tile, so I’m guessing rhey are working on this relic. I walked in to be greeted by the highlight of the trip. Helpful and friendly staff. Getting to the hotel room the first thing I noticed was a queen bed isn’t the same to everyone. This was a full. Whatever. The sheets were clean in a way that an 80 year olds underwear are clean. Yeah they are white, but the ball hanging out through the hole is an indication they may not be new. The lamp was just a 4’ pole with a light at the end, but again, it fit the description of light. The bed was surprising in that I made it the entire night without a spring sticking me in the back. Upon waking it was shower time. I had hitherto avoided the bathroom as there was a few obvious cracks in the floor/tub/surround that I was nervous might produce wildlife it bothered. Alas, the need for a shower was real in the am and I ventured in. This was a shower like none other I have ever experienced. The shower head produced no water, well that’s an exaggeration as a drop or two emerged. The majority of the water shot straight up through the connection of the head to the pipe. It was angled such that it sprayed off the ceiling overhead and then fell onto me. It was a little cooler after contacting the ceiling. When the heat was turned up the dripping water form the head became scalding hot, but the water coming off the ceiling was a more acceptable temperature. Most of the water used didn’t get to go down the drain as it escaped through the cracks either in the tub or around the edges. After a good showering off I tried to watch a little TV and neither the tv nor the remote seemed too inspired to work. I was able to log into the wifi and stream my tv from home. WiFi 10/10. One of the positives was the ease of turning on the bathroom light and fan. There were 3 switches that all accomplished the exact same thing.
My choices for rating this hotel below are interesting and lead me to believe that this site is being biased. They are: Luxury Great views Romantic Quiet Kid friendly High tech

Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for more than a week in early May. Everything was great - until it wasn't. Suddenly we began to see charges on our account posted from the hotel; charges in the excess of $700. We talked to the hotel staff; they denied any wrongdoing. We contacted Wyndham; they told us to we had to talk to the hotel. In the evening of 5/6 we went to get coffee from the reception area and talked about the police report we had to file per the bank's request in case the bank had to file criminal charges. Brittany, one of the receptionist, yelled from the back office, "I don't appreciate you talking about that, why don't you just leave!" We were both rather shocked at her outburst; why was she so angry about it? Our money was stolen and she's mad at us? She called us four times in 20 min after we returned to our room. We didn't answer. Why would we? To get more abuse heaped on us from the receptionist? No thanks. We contacted Wyndham again - nothing. The next day I went to get more coffee and Brittany asked to talk to me. She told me, "We talked and we all agree, you need to leave." I told her she was being disrespectful and she didn't need to talk to me the way she did (she was rude and condescending). Her reply, "My brother is a cop, I'll call him if you don't leave." Someone at their hotel steals money from us and they'll call the police on us? Really? We left. Later that night we get an email from the hotel telling us the $300 charge was a deposit. We had heard this before from Brittany, but how strange her comment was as the manager had told me the day before they don't take deposits. Nothing about the event passes the smell test. Thankfully Wyndham provided the owner's information and we have contacted him. But as we haven't heard back, we're going to court as it appears we can't get our money back any other way. So stay if you want your money gone and your time wasted. It's what...
Read moreWhere do I start. Well, for starters, it was a birthday getaway weekend for me. When my husband and I walked in the door, the person behind the desk, BRITTANY, told us our reservations were canceled. Then BRITTANY told us she would give us a deal on the room, which she did not. We knew it was a non-smoking hotel, so we would go OUTSIDE to have a cigarette (each and every time). Unfortunately, BRITTANY had charged us supposable for smoking in the room. We went back to the front desk and wanted her to come check it out herself, but she was not there, so Jade came to the room and checked it out. She was able to determine we were not smoking at all.
After spending most of our time there at the nearest casino (Seven Feathers, which was great), and down to the South Umpqua river during the day, we would go back to the hotel to sleep. On the night before we left, we found a post-it note on our hotel room door stating: Come to the office as soon as you can. It was late that night, so we waited til the following day (before checkout time) to find out what was wrong. The guy at the counter said everything seemed to be fine and that the charges for not smoking in the room were dropped.
By the time we got home and checked the invoice for our stay there, we were shocked that BRITTANY had charged us triple the amount of our stay, Plus we were supposedly smoking all THREE DAYS (which is NOT TRUE). WE WERE NOT EVEN IN THE ROOM DURING THE DAY!!!!!!!!
I ADVISE NO ONE GO HERE. ESPECIALLY IF BRITTANY IS WORKING THERE. SHE WILL...
