Canyon Creek Tavern — Restaurant in Canyonville

My review pertains to the Canyon Greek Tavern as of 10:00 PM on a Sunday, so food service was done for the night, and it was populated by local patrons with a lone bartender to serve drinks, perform security/ID checking, and keep the atmosphere going in that fantastic conversational way that a good bartender will do without thinking twice about it.

I was staying in a local motel and decided to get a drink. Conveniently, if you're in Canyonville, the Tavern is a short walk away from mostly anywhere, and it absolutely hits the spot.

You'll be treated to pool tables, a long bar, and sit-down tables as you please. Lots of wood decor. Beer selection includes both, staples (Coors, Michelob, etc.), Oregon IPAs, and some Kona Brewing if hops aren't your thing. Full bar to choose from when harder liquor is your poison, and Stormy, our bartender for the night, was mixing staples and experimental concoctions with rapidity and ease.

Everybody got involved, the conversation was great, and time seemed to stand still - next thing I know, it's 2:00 AM, we're all friends, and Stormy is shooing us out with a broom so she can finish cleaning.

I have a preexisting bias for a good local town watering hole, but even with my positive bias, the Canyon Creek Tavern gets a solid 5 stars. Charming bartender, great conversation with the locals, reasonable prices - I know what town to stop in the next time I fly through Oregon.

Absolutely love going to this bar! Danielle and Kelly are the best. They make this place no doubt! Friendly funny outgoing and hard working. They clearly love their job and the people. Their customer interaction is on point! The food is fire I love the cheese balls! Live entertainment is well very entertaining. Small town vibes with plenty of space good people and outdoor activities to get in on! Clean bathrooms clean in all areas for that matter. These girls are killing it! Whoever hired these two…. In town for the night 10/25/24 Stumbled across this establishment after not receiving great service at Seven Feathers and so glad we did. Great customer service, the bartender was phenomenal, she was attentive, engaging and her great disposition was outstanding. Not only was she the bartender she was the cook and when we asked about food she did not shy away and suggested the burger. It was cooked great and was not a frozen patty it was a great portion and cooked to perfection, got warm house chips with lots of in house made dip (sauces).
