Carrington Park District — Hotel in Carrington

Very nice community park. It has a playground that's big enough for the bigger kids,but it still has the stuff that the little tikes can enjoy. There is also a tennis court and a basketball court. The most awesome thing about this park is the pool, it is a large outdoor pool with 3 slides and goes to 10 feet if I'm not mistaken. It does have diving boards and also there was lifeguards on duty when we visited. I'm not sure if there is a fee,we went with some locals friends and we didn't pay one, I didn't think to ask until after the fact. There is also picnic tables and a few gazebos and grills and sheltered picnic tables scattered about. I also saw some RVS on on the lot so this place has everything. Quaint city park!! We meant to only stay for one night, but had RV troubles and ended up being able to work on it without any hassle. Stayed two days in total. Location is Within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, groceries, gas stations, auto parts store. Keep in mind that it is a small town, so many places close around 8 pm. Sites were level and easy to get into. Room for big rigs. It is first come, first serve. Has toilets, picnic tables, ball fields, community pool, and many playgrounds. As far as a city park goes no one can argue just how great Carrington is! The city takes pride in offering the community and visitors the option of a clean, safe, and well maintained park for all sorts of activities. From the pool to the swings, from the walking path to the jungle gym everything is kept up throughout the summer and treated as a focal point for the community to gather at. When we have family gatherings in town my children love this meeting ground and when the children are happy so are the parents! Good job Carrington keep up...
