I'm stationed at Minot and I put a gun on layaway on my trip from my home in Pennsylvania. It takes 2 and a half hours to drive to this place from base and I asked when I put the money for the gun down if I'd be allowed to purchase it. They said yes I'm 18 and stationed here so no issue. Went to pick it up today and they asked for my general orders. Where did this come from? Walmart never asked for my orders when I bought a .243 off them? They just needed my military ID and the base number. These jokers said I needed a physical copy of my orders or no gun. I carry a copy of my orders in my car, but I wasn't traveling in my vehicle, I was with my Fiancé in her car, so no orders.
