River's Bend — Hotel in Carroll

What an amazing family vacation at River's Bend! Our family of four (plus two furry friends) enjoyed a 5-night stay in this beautiful house. The location was perfect for our family fun activities. We visited Story Land and Santa's Village, which were just a short drive away, and our kids absolutely loved the Christmas-themed amusement park, Santa's Village. Whale's Tale Water Park was also a big hit with the whole family. It was great to have so many family-friendly attractions nearby. Thanks for suggesting it Greg!

The house itself was perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds, and we appreciated the full kitchen for making meals when we didn't feel like eating out. The views around the house were amazing, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset over the mountains. The guidebook provided all the information we needed, from nearby shops to hiking trails.

Speaking of hiking, we took our two dogs and went on the Basin Cascade Trail. It was a moderate hike with a beautiful waterfall that the whole family enjoyed. We also went to Franconia Notch State Park and checked out The Basin. Our kids loved exploring the river above and below the Basin and finding unique cascades.

We absolutely loved our stay at River's Bend! Greg was extremely responsive and communicative, answering all of our questions and providing helpful tips for local attractions. The house was spotless upon arrival and beautifully designed, with comfortable furnishings and all the necessary amenities. It was obvious that everything was brand new and had recently been renovated. The beds are sooo comfortable! The house is charming and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Additionally, the location of River's Bend is so stunning! Hiking trails are abundant and close by. Cannon is around 12 minutes away from the house and Bretton Woods is 10 minutes away so it’s actually the perfect base to get to a lot of the area’s tourist spots.

With views of the mountains that'll leave your jaw on the floor and a river that's perfect for a lazy afternoon float, it's the perfect place to kick back and relax. And believe me, after a day of trudging through the wilderness, you'll need all the relaxation you can get!

We also loved the convenience of having a gas grill and fully equipped kitchen for meals at the cabin. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in the White Mountains! Can't recommend enough!

We had an amazing stay at River's Bend, and the kitchen was definitely one of the highlights! It was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for our family, from pots and pans to utensils and dishes. The appliances were top-notch and modern, making it a breeze to cook our favorite meals. We especially loved the spacious countertops, which gave us plenty of room to chop vegetables and prepare meals together as a family.

The open floor plan made it easy to chat with each other while cooking, and we often found ourselves congregating in the kitchen area. The dining table was just steps away, so we could easily serve our meals and enjoy them together as a family.
