I booked this hotel online for a two night stay. I was leery because of multiple negative reviews, but decided to give it a chance because it’s a brand new property and my typical go to’s for the area were booked. BIG mistake!!! ||||My three children and I checked in late after a long day of traveling. We were exhausted, and eager to sleep. The area seemed safe enough, but it was late. We walked in to a locked up front desk. Completely empty, no one to be found. Window pulled, no staff. I tried not to panic as I rang the bell and waited for around 15 minutes… late at night… alone with three kids. Finally the night attendant strolled in, and completed check in. Inconvenient? Yes. Possibly unsafe? Probably, given the sketchy appearance of most of their guests. But whatever, I was happy to finally have a room.||||I quickly found that the beds are really more like cots. They have no box springs, they squeak, and they’re very uncomfortable. Metal frame only, like literal cots. It’s a new hotel, but these shoddy things won’t last much longer. Already showing wear. Gross, but again, whatever. The rooms have only blinds, no light blocking shades at all. Like plastic Walmart blinds. Again, whatever. I could have overlooked all of these cheap, dingy, budget furnishings if only we could have slept….||||I quickly found out that our room was located at the security door and across from the laundry room. Every 3-5 minute a door slammed. I’m not kidding. This went on and on and on. Finally at 11 pm, I called to find out what was going on. It sounded like enough people stomping through the doors to have a rave! The front desk attendant told me it was probably her doing laundry. I asked if I could move, that the door slamming every 3-5 minutes was making it impossible for us to sleep. She told me no, but she would try to keep it down. Why does staff do laundry at 11 pm? Why are the walls so thin that I can hear them doing laundry? Why would they put a guest room directly between the front desk and the laundry room? All good questions. This torture of falling asleep only to be jolted awake by the door slamming went on until around 1 am when I called to beg them||To stop, or to see if I could get my money back and possibly sleep in the car. I was exhausted, my kids were crying, the dog next door was barking, nobody was sleeping with this “laundry”. It happened to be a new clerk that allowed me to finally switch rooms. Why did it take 2 hours, 2 phone calls, 3 crying kids, and no sleep to finally get a new room? ||||The new room REEEEEEKED. It was the worst smell of old food and stale smoke. Whatever, at this point we were so exhausted we slept from around 2 am to 5 am when the sun came into through the Walmart blinds and blinded us.||||I went down to the front desk the next morning and asked to speak with the manager. After this horrible night and 3 hours of sleep, I of course did not want to stay again that night. Instead of apologizing, Matt the general manager says “let me guess, room 113?” like he was expecting me. He never once apologized, and immediately went on the offense, telling me his staff HAD to do laundry in the middle of the night and they “did me a special favor” moving me. For real, Matt made it seem like it was ME that was the problem for wanting a quiet room away from the laundry. Like, how dare I want to sleep during their laundry time? After he belittled me for switching and yelled at me for wanting to check out, he told me that it was a THREE night minimum and he was going to FINE me!!!!! My reservation was only for two nights to begin with!!!! This seemed like a scam, so I asked for the corporate number. Matt informed me they’re independent from choice hotels (not true, after leaving I called and found out this was another lie) and then yelled at me to “get out of my hotel”. He then told me not to come back which I just looked at him like he was crazy, why would I EVER come back? I was trying to leave early, and he was trying to fine me for it. ||||Bottom line is:||THIN walls (be prepared to hear everything)||||Cot beds (trashy and uncomfortable)||||Crazy management (literally crazy, very scary and intimidating)||||DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!...

Staying here was a colossal mistake. From the moment we checked in, it became clear this place has no idea how to operate a hotel.
One evening, the person staying with me accidentally forgot his key and asked me to come let him in through the back door. Before I could get there, the hotel manager was already interrogating him like he was a criminal. Let me be clear: he was a registered guest staying with me. The situation should’ve ended there, but it didn’t.
When I went to extend my stay, they extended it by 2 days and said they would refuse any more extensions. I asked why and they started claiming I had been “letting random people into the hotel.” This was a complete fabrication, and they knew it. Are you serious? How are you going to accuse a guest of violating policies when you clearly knew the person in question was staying there? And to make it worse, they seem blissfully unaware that once this hotel gets busier, people will use the back doors frequently. Are they going to interrogate every single guest who doesn’t use the front entrance?
But here’s where it gets even worse: when I tried to have a calm, rational conversation to explain the situation, the staff member I spoke with became aggressive and started raising his voice at me. All I wanted was to address the misunderstanding, but instead, I was met with hostility and complete unprofessionalism.
This hotel is clearly not ready to accommodate guests. The walls are paper-thin; you’ll hear everything happening above, below, and next to you. The staff is completely untrained, rude, and incapable of managing basic operations. And the rooms? Mediocre at best.
For $400 a week, you’d be better off spending your money elsewhere. Don’t waste your time or money here. Trust me,...
