I stayed a month here transitioning from homelessness to sheltered after being stranded in this part of the country by a former employer. The last week someone came into my room and instead of cleaning it they left it untouched and stole a bottle of toothpaste? Upon going to inquire about the last time my room had been cleaned I was greeted by an employee with a horrible attitude that had no idea about anything. I then told her someone had stolen my ",#&'x" toothpaste. It was 6:30 am I was trying to get ready for work. I was upset obviously I'd been stolen from. The next day when my boyfriend went to extend the room he was told they wouldn't do that because of my attitude. No prior notice no nothing just that we have to leave today and find somewhere else to go. I'm not getting vouchers nobody is helping me. I now have to take a day off work to move because of this places unprofessional staff that cannot handle anything. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Upon arrival my room stank like mildew. After spending hours scrubbing and cleaning top to bottom and finding a dog toy under the broken bed that let us know they definitely do not clean professionally or thoroughly or care about the safety or well being of their customers it was finally livable.... but their tvs don't stay connected to their terrible wifi service so you'll never have access to their "premium" channels. The wifi is regularly reset causing you to need to request a new password regularly, very very inconvenient. Something caused my fridge to lose power and nobody could do anything until the next morning luckily we wake up at 6 am so we didn't get woke up by them but would have if we didn't work. I lost food and no reimbursement was offered. The walls down the hallway are marked up everywhere and the carpet is dirty. It regularly smells from ppl smoking inside the hall carpets are filthy. Housekeeping would steal from you before they'll clean your room. My room was never cleaned on the day they said it would be so we never knew when housekeeping was in and out of our room. Bring cleaning products if you enjoy cleanliness you'll need to use them and your own time to get a truly cleaned room. The staff is rude and they aren't hospitable they are entitled. They keep their vehicles in the front at the door close lobby restrooms to guest saying their only for the employees and can't ever help you if you have a need or a question and sadly management seems happy with their rude useless staff that treat guest like complete crap. The towels and sheets are all stained. So you may bring your own things in that department too. The employees are a stain on society I'd go elsewhere to avoid. The place regularly has homeless druggies pulling in to use and sell at the end of the parking lot as you enter and exit. They have ppl coming through their unsecured property as well. So your vehicle isn't very secure. And the parking is terrible. There's guest who will sit and wait for a desirable spot to open up it is so bad. We watched a guy backing up to claim a spot hit the vehicle that was pulling out of the spot. The trash area always has garbage sitting all around the actual can that they'll leave laying there. Kinda reflective of what your experience in this place will be. Stay at yours and your teeth's own risk. They like stolen toothpaste so much they'll go out of their way to cover for thieving employees even costing them legit paying tenants that are...
Read moreI'm a business traveler; stayed in hundreds of rooms. Very nice, new facility; the staff are incredibly, genuinely friendly/helpful. When the manager is there, he will greet u w/ a big welcome. They also offer tremendously powerful wifi in place of a breakfast (which is fine with me as 95% of all hotel breakfasts taste the same and I avoid with a passion). And they have Google Chrome on the TV so I could enjoy my Hulu. They also offer Showtime on demand.
Now a few drawbacks: I must 1st preface that every room may have different dimensions/features. However my enclosed shower was very cramped & I bumped my elbows every time I washed my hair (I'm 5'5" female). Also, no shampoo/byo. I got 1 small bar of soap for the whole place and a small bottle of lotion. That's it for toiletries.
The fire alarm right above the bed has this feature where it sets off a small strobe light every few minutes; annoying when trying to sleep in the dark. Very high tech but not conducive to sleep.
My biggest annoyance was they told me they cater to business travelers.Yet there's no biz ctr/printer (tho there is a conference rm). And the kitchen is bare: no toaster, dish soap, pots/pans, etc. When I inquired about it, I was given the trained phrase "if you wish to use those, you're welcome to buy them." Yet they don't sell them there.
Of course I want to use those, I chose a place w/ a kitchen for a reason. And what business traveler wants to purchase pots, pans, toaster, even dish soap? Are they going to take them back on the plane with them? Or do I just leave them there (waste)? Your target market is WRONG for what you're offering. Compete with My Place instead who markets to the millennial who is willing to go the extra mile to save $. But biz traveler?!? You're going to fail w/that target. Even My Place at least has a toaster, dish soap/towel, & sells pots/pans.
Overall, I would stay there again as long as I know what I'm in for. Another thing is that I called there before I stayed to check the lay of the land and I was told there was paper towels, toaster, dish soap, cutting board, knife, pots/pans, cooking utensils. But that I would have to bring my own plates and flatware.
Yet when I got there, there was nothing. Not even ice trays. Yes, they have a ice machine on the 1st floor but why waste a nice full-sized freezer?? It took me two days to get down to the ice machine as I was busy with, well, business :) Whenever I've stayed in places with full size freezers, I always smiled when I saw ice trays filled with ice in the freezer waiting for me when I checked in. How thoughtful!
Fortunately, I had packed these things anyway (except the toaster) to play it safe as I was traveling by car (not plane). I think the employee must have been thinking of another property as these things are offered in a lot of places I've stayed that have kitchens (even a dishwasher in some of them. And, yes, at a similar price).
I can't overemphasize how nice and wonderful the staff/management were. And it made up for many of this dings I listed above. And the wifi rocked. I just really felt the targeting of the biz customer was really off base and insulted a consummate business traveler who's stayed in places that are far more conducive to the guest that want a home cooked meal instead of eating out all the time. Otherwise, I'd just stay in a place without a full sized kitchen. And there's...
Read moreUsed condom found in room. Left without a refund.. Triple clean is a lie this is durring covid. Filed police report for damage to vehicle and theft of my seizure medication (controlled substance) by housekeeping. Update. After being told to leave because I asked 3 days in a row for quarters to do laundry.. My husband is epileptic and we could not nor would the housekeeping clean up his vomit. The manager and maintenance man were fired o er these issues.... We paid a full month left 12 days in and they tried to charge me an extra 600 dollars bc we left when we found a biohazard used condom during covid. Also the housekeeping who stole my meds were nearly arrested but ultimately fire with the gm and maintenance bully. Who legit after I showed them myeds were missing screamed in my face while point and told me to calm the "f" down.... I then said... We have been here 12 days and each day is worse and that I refused to allow housekeeping back in the room until my belongings were out... Oh BTW... When we need to wash the blanket bc of the vomit. Housekeeping wasn't going to help us. No towels or housekeeping for 12 full days.... You know how nasty that must be? Well I do... And so does magnum condemns... Google will not allow me to post the photos because they're so disgusting. I have videos of it on YouTube just Google uptown suites Centennial on YouTube.. I am working withy bank the states attorney as well as our Ada attorney... Look... Glad the problems are gone... But are they really? The health department should shut you down and send you to the unemployment line. Absolutely worst stay in 30 yrs and a roos 4 continents. Which is impressive bc even cheap Japanese hotels offer simple amenities like soap... You guys can't even do that. I'd say see ya in court but we all know you'll settle out of court or this will hit national news.... Well guess what... I don't want the money. My attorneys working to have your business license removed for unfair consumer practices as well as false advertising and for slandering and making fun of a disabled client. Damage to my car was 6k and I lost about 1600 from leaving early. Then another 600 on top of that.... It was explained to me that it was the gms personal policies that were causing problems... All calls were recorded to youth e as well.... Just listen to how she reacted about finding a used condemn.... "I'll have em double check next time." YOU ALREADY STATE ALL OVER THAT YOU DO A TRIPLE CHECK... YOU CHECKED MY MEDS OUT, (ON GO PRO THEY DIDN'T KNOW WAS ON! HAHA! SO. IT'S PRETTY CLEAR WHY SGE LOST GER JOB BC SHE WAS CAUGHT GOING THROUGH THE CABINETS AND LTHEN HOUSLEEPING STOLE THE MEDS THEN STARTED TO TAMPER WITH MY HUSBAND'S WORK LAPTOP... UNFORTUNATELY FOR THEM WE HAD TO REPORT THAT AND HAVE IT DUSTED FOR PRINTS AS HE WORKS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AND HOLD A SECURITY CLEARENCE.... IT CLEAR THEY DROPPED THE BALL.... But it will happen again because the actual issues still haven't been addressed. For example why did I pay 2 weeks for a roo. I had to vacate for biohazard reasons during covid.... It's been 3 weeks and the amount of time they cost me and my family is astronomical. Rest assured they won't be there in another 18months once we litigate bc as I said.... I don't want to settle out of court. I want the world to see the truth! Don't ever call a photographer a liar. We're ALWAYS...
