Executive Inn & Suites Joaquin — Hotel in Center

In 2018, I was going to my cousins funeral in Logansport. . My daughter and I were commenting on how it would be great if a hotel was near because we didn't want to stay with relatives. So we reached Nacogdoches and stopped at a hotel and checked it out. While driving we finally made it to Joaquin a there was a piece of heaven named Executive Inn and we were acting like kids. I met the owner Mr. Amit,checked in at a reasonable price. I am disabled and he said that he wanted us to be closer to the office just in case I needed him. And it was close to the wheelchair assessability. It was for 1 night and checkout was at 11 and so was the funeral. The long drive knocked us out. We didn't hear the alarm. I just love this place, Mr. AMIT called us and reminded us to checkout. He remembered that we were here for a funeral and told us to the our time and prepare ourselves. After the funeral, my relatives wanted to stay another and I called Mr. Amit and told my uncle wanted us to stay another day. I asked him could we have the same room. He laughed and said that it would be ready. Well in October, 2021 this year, my daughter and I were going to visit our uncle, and yesz honey without a doubt we went to Executive Inn in the same room. I love this place. It has a homey feeling. It was clean,bathroom is very large and stocked with towels and clean. Beds were like butter smooth. The mattress was perfect. The day staff Mr.Digen was professional, friendly and humble. The housekeeping staff were friendly.

Good, clean room and property. Doesn't offer much in the way of amenities, and doesn't pretend to be more than it is. No coffee in lobby, no breakfast. Not a bug in sight and that is hard to accomplice in East Texas. Coffee maker in the room with 1 packet of coffee. Charcoal grills available by the gazebo (also has tables and chairs). Microwave and fridge in room. Has a guest laundry. Large flat screen TV, desk and couch . Rooms are large, freshly painted, basic and very clean. Needs some maintenance (3" hole in sheetrock, mirror edge cracked, toilet runs sometimes). The best things are the price, cleanliness and the comfortable beds and pillows. I booked this room because I live in a mobile home and with a very severe storm coming I did not feel comfortable staying home. I was very surprised at the cleanliness of my room, everything was nice and neat, and the room was actually larger then I expected it to be. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. I wish the breakfast would have been out, but I understand because of Covid the breakfast has been shut down.
