Personally, I think it's decent for what it is. The only grocery store in a small town. However: the prices are higher because they have no competition, there isn't truly a bakery, it's a lunch counter that does breakfast as well. There isn't a pharmacy, deli, no bread section beyond French loaf or garlic bread, no slice to order meat or cheese, and I fell in this store when I was pregnant. When I notified the manager, she screamed at the woman who was mopping and obviously spoke only Spanish about not putting the sign for wet floors out in front of us. I'm pretty sure she got fired, and that was not my intention at all, but the manager wasn't reasonable. Because I have never been so disappointed in a brookshires store ever. They closed the cash office before 7pm at the gas station. So that way the can get that 3% extra. Literally one cashier , when there is 5 or more people wanting and needing to checkout. I have 3 items and have to wait for the 4 other customers who have full baskets. Like I said , complete dissatisfaction. I'll drive to Center , or go without before I spend another cent ...
