Palace Inn Blue Houston East Beltway 8 — Hotel in Channelview

The hotel is new which is why it's lacking reviews. Apearance wise it's very nice and pretty, but not functional. There is nowhere in the shower at all to put your own cleaning shampoos except for the floor. Towels are not in bathroom and there is no towel hook to hang one so you don't have to walk out naked after shower. Our bedding was damp, maybe since the ac doesn't work great and kept the humidity in the room. We had ac on all night on high and we were still hot sleeping with just a sheet. Toilet had dried pee on seat when we came into room, told front desk and they gave me new sheets so I could switch out the damp ones and gave me cleaner to clean toilet. No hair dryer in the room either. Breakfast was cereal and milk was in a gallon container from store in a fridge you just share. Overall hotel was ok, basic channels on tv and no alarm clock. The stay was absolutely Great. I don't know much about breakfast because I never got up in time to attend, but I do know they allow breakfast. What I love most about this property is that they are always and I mean always kept UP- meaning services, rooms, and parking lots. They provide disinfected wipes, shower caps, and of course towels. They are strict about more than 2 guests so BE AWARE IF THERES MORE PEOPLE YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR THOSE PEOPLE AS WELL. Overall I enjoyed the stay. Beds and pillows are soft just as well as comfortable. I have stayed several times. They are reasonable and affordable. In addition, I can say out of all the times I have stayed I've always gotten congested. I've wonder if I have been the only one due to their water because myself and it does NOT get alone whatsoever. I call the front desk to day to book a room for 2 days he charged me double when I said I had a room yesterday in the same area with a half price he hung up on me. Impolite person I couldn't understand his english either he is from India I believe. Be nice to your customer I called next door hotel i spook to a nice lady I had the room with half price and better service.
