I have had a lot of terrible experiences while at the Gene Green dog park, but today definitely takes the win. Other than maintenance workers leaving the gate open when they drive their golf carts in for maintenance, people bringing their dogs into the park on a leash which is a disastrous situation waiting to happen, or people just not picking up their dog's feces, today I was asked to leave by the maintenance worker because my dog was being aggressive. His words verbatim were I get to decide whether your dog stays or leaves. Not only do I have two cage-free parrots at home, two cats, and she is in training to be a hospital and care support animal. But the minor disagreement that actually occurred resulted in me getting asked to leave with my Husky and the woman who sat on her rear and watched her Pitbull involved was able to stay. When I left the park and proceeded to call the proper authorities that could handle the situation with Integrity the women and the maintenance worker continue to stand and stare and gossip. I have never felt so humiliated when trying to have fun with my pets in a public place. Never again will I go to Gene Green. I understand why Alexander deussen is the...
Read moreThis is specific towards the Dog Park area. I brought my fur pup to the small dog park. It's a nice set up but I just like that people bring their baby or toddlers into the park. I have a Pitbull pup but it's pretty strong to knock over a child. I had to walk away from the dog park area, parents were getting there kids away from the dog. I don't want to be responsible if my fur pup hurts a child or it bites them due to be being bothered or frustrated. The pup is here to play with other pups and not constantly being bother by a random child. Also, I have a grown Pitbull also in the big Dog Park side. I notice that other dog owners bring aggressive dogs that are willing to bite other dogs. If you know your dogs is aggressive with other dogs...don't bring them to the park. Attempt to trained them first before bringing them in. Its a nice park and all dogs should get along and enjoy it. Please Like, Follow, and Share for more...
Read moreThis is a great place for dogs! The parks are really big they have little pools for them too They include a path in the woods that is all fenced in. I love it this is the best dog park that I've been to so far and all of east and west North Houston. Including Conroe Magnolia and Montgomery. The pool is nice and big. They keep it clean. They drain and refresh it every Tuesday and Friday. This is the best park around by far.
I had to call the police hotline on people who have dogs in there that are aggressive and bark and growl which they do not belong in there. I had to stop going bb/c my dog kept getting picked on. I only go if there is...
