This is very shameful. I was at the park at 5:30 this morning. I was waiting on the guy to open the gate. He pulled up close to 6 o’clock this morning. I was the second one in line I happen to pull up to the dog park because that’s where I park and my lights flashed at the gate of the dog park and I saw two dogs there beautiful puppies I was shocked because there was nobody around people were pulling up and these two dogs were there left overnight. I guess I gave them water to drink. I was asking people around there that were walking that these dogs belong to them, but they said they had just got there so the dogs were left overnight. Someone abandoned these pretty puppies I try to get a hold of the manager. I went up there looking for him. There was no one to be found and knocked in all the garage is trying to get help to find out what I needed to do because this is never happened since I’ve been going there all figured that maybe there was another way for people to get in but there’s not because this guy opens up the gate here first and then there’s another gate at the end so I thought maybe the ladies passed out so I went inside the gate to look around to see if anybody was there passed out but luckily thank God there wasn’t but they did these two beautiful babies. I called the numbers. Nobody answered. I had to go to work. I was already running late. I am a dog lover and it’s very shameful that these people left these two babies behind here are if anybody goes to the park. See if you see them , try to get someone to help them. It’s very shameful that there was nobody to be found that I am very upset about that. What if you have an accident at that park like I failed today on a rock and my sister luckily was there with me because she walked with me to pick me up but what if I would’ve really got hurt who do you call , who do you ask or something like this? Is it your own risk on your own because there wasn’t no...

We've been coming to the dog park for a number of years now and have noticed considerable decline in it's state with regard to the trail through the wooded area. There has been a portion of the fence line that has been damaged now for over a year without repair and now, just recently, an even bigger portion of the fence line has new significant damage from a large fallen tree. The rest of the wooded area has several other decaying fallen trees that should probably be cleared out as they are leaning on other smaller trees and could possibly present a danger if they were to collapse and fall onto someone's dog. Also, this park only has two water stations and it seems large enough of an area that it could do with at least a couple more. Another thing is that they really need to fix the light post in the park. Once it starts to get dark and the lights come on, they look like an old flashlight whose light emitting diodes are about to die and they are practically useless at providing any meaningful illumination. On the upside, the concrete pond water filtration system seems to finally be in working order again and the water is no longer dark and murky and riddled with algae. All-in-all, we pay too much in taxes for this to be what we receive in the way of a place to...

This is a really neat dog park. It has a wooded trail as well. Very enjoyable. The pool is always clean. I come almost every day. Live down the street. These 2 pitbull dogs you see in the video were picking on my Shepherd pup. The majority of the dogs that I see who shouldn't be there are pit bulls. I told the person it shouldn't be here b/c it's aggressive, growling, and picking on other dogs. Several of us left b/c that person wouldn't. I should've called the police line and reported it. There is also a black Doberman that picks on others. It has a white collar. And again, wouldn't leave after we said you can't be here with your dog. That's the only problem with dog parks. People don't train their dogs properly and you always have to watch and be with your dog and always ask others if their dog is friendly. So if you see me with my West German Shepherd say hi :) I love pit bulls but watch them. As much as I come here, only a few so far have been well-behaved. Not enough benches or shaded areas is the only downfall. The BMX...

Probably my favorite park on the east side of Houston. I recently found out about this place and now I come here regularly. There’s a skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, 1-2 mile loop (you can do the big loop or the small loop), trail that takes you where the trees live, volleyball net, work out area, dog park, playgrounds for kids, a mini stage for performances, etc. This park truly has it all. The park itself is pretty big but not overwhelmingly large. There’s lots of space for everyone and parking is always available. Nothing but great things to say about this place. This parks never fails to deliver breathtaking sunset views as well. You definitely gotta go at least once 😊
