Lake Chelan Motel — Hotel in Chelan

This is a very "get what you pay for" motel. Also, the 2 rooms featured on the website are the largest rooms, the others are smaller and more crowded.

The good: Very affordable Everything in the room was clean. The pool is clean Walkable to a great park/beach -The outside grills (including a griddle) are a great solution for not having stoves in all of the rooms

The bad: They room was too crowded, they put 2 beds in a room sized for 1, so you could hardly turn around without stepping on something. The A/C was too small for the room, so it was always too hot in the afternoon/evening. Didn't cool down until late at night The window didn't have a screen so you couldn't open it when too hot without letting bugs in The sink is too small to wash dishes The wifi didn't work most of the time The TV usually only got a few (3-5) channels, and they were random The "kitchenette" was a refrigerator that doubles as TV stand, and a microwave. No cupboards, stoves, or dining areas as shown in the photos. The parking area is too small for the number of cars There were wasps in the outdoor cooking and eating area The pool area smells...

My husband, my 11 years old son and me rented a room in Lake Chelan Motel for a weekend. Unfortunately we have to say we had a bad experience here.||||This motel is attended by Clara and Rudy (managers)||On Friday night we went to the pool with our son and when Rudy approach to us to say : "Hi", we noticed clearly that he was drunk.||||Saturday morning (9:40 a.m.) we went to the reception office and nobody was there (???).||When finally Rudy appears he was wearing his bathrobe and with evident signs he was still drunk.||When we complain about we had NO Internet (they rent the room saying :"WI FI Access") he just said he couldn't do nothing and if we want...we can leave (!!!) and show us a sign : "NO REFUNDS".||||Now I know why they charge in advance and have that sign !!!||||Like customers that pay for a service they say they will provide, we deserve a minimum of respect (same we gave to them).||This incident is unacceptable. We are not going back to that place anymore and we think it will be helpful for future guests to know about our...

We've stayed here 3 separate occasions now and have had a great time. In fact we've booked a 4th time in August and can't wait to come back. We've found the owners gracious and accommodating every time. This place is simple but extremely well kept and clean. The owners work tirelessly to keep the grounds pristine. There's a beautiful pool that we used most of the days we were there. The owners home overlooked the pool and not once did we feel like we were intruding in their space. In fact it seems as though they stayed away to give the guests privacy. For the price and location of this Motel I couldn't recommend a better place to stay. There's a playground, basketball court and BBQ's available for the guests. Some of the rooms have kitchens as well. The owners are incredible, helpful and ensure that everyone's stay is perfect.
