Stayed with a large group for a girls' baseball tournament. The rooms were clean, they had washing a machine and dryer, which came in handy after a hard rain day. It was too cold for the outdoor pool but the free breakfast in the morning was nice for the girls and parents. The lady working the breakfast was very kind and pleasant. The hotel accommodated our group and let us all meet in the breakfast room in the evenings as well. The only negative comment would be regarding the extra charges added to every group reservation upon our arrival. Anyone with more than 2 people in the room had to pay an extra $25/person. No one in our group had been forewarned of this, and it's not something anyone if us had ever heard of either. Any reservation I've ever made includes a family of 4 to a room. That seems like something they should have told us at the time of our booking. Other than the hidden charges, I would recommend this hotel.

This motel was the absolute worst motel I’ve ever been to! The first red flag was the lot getting paved and having to walk half block to get there. I was going to pay an extra $40 for a nicer room with a bigger walk in shower but you couldn’t even turn around in the shower. Then, after working all day and come back to relax, they kicked me and my husband out saying I didn’t tell them I had a service dog and they still charged my card for the $160 for the 4 nights. Plus kept my $150 cash I gave them and charged my work $585 that I had to pay back. My family will never go back to that place. What a rude bunch of people, how dumb can one person really be lol

Best Western Executive Inn is in a decent location close to the highway, but far enough away to avoid road noise. Like many hotels I've stayed at recently, they seem way understaffed. I'm disappointed that the quality of these places has gone down but prices keep rising. Hotel is advertised as having a pool. Yes they have one, is it operational? No. Many fixtures in the room are rusted. The breakfast area was not even sufficient for a kids breakfast. Not what I expect for over $100 night.

HORRIBLE HOTEL! DO NOT STAY HERE!! And because my review will come under my sons google acct the reply to this review will be like the others from the manager that he does not have that name there maybe I’m talking about a different hotel. BUT NO! THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BEST WESTERN HOTEL IN MT GILEAD OHIO. We booked online i put in my info 2 adults 3 kids and their ages the website processed my reservation which were made 3 weeks in advance and non refundable which I have already currently started a claim to fight because we checked in to the hotel 2 adults 3 kids they watched us carry our things and get settled before the young man at the desk called my phone and said there is a problem please come back to the desk. We were at that point told we had a reservation only for 2 adults and that they could only have 4 in a room therefore our ONLY option was to rent a 2nd room mind you for another 432$ due to the length of our stay. With this information we decided ok my husband will stay with family and myself and kids will stay at the hotel the first nite this worked sort of as it was an inconvenience we have all of our clothes and 1 car with us to be separate was not ideal the next morning and only morning we stayed again we booked and paid for 3 nites and 4 days, the owner popped up in the hall and ask if my husband had stayed I said no because he had not however I had all of his clothes and only 1 car to make the inconvenience work he came bk early morning and got ready for our day. When we left that morning we were gone until after 10pm returned only to find out the hotel had locked us out! They also had all of our things medications and inhalers were also locked in that room. When I went thru the front door I was addressed by a staff member and told per her she saw 5 people on the camera and I was locked out. I in turn explained I booked online I entered my kids ages and info the reservation went thru and is paid for plus 150$ hold on my card at check in, the owner and staff member both were irate and beyond rude the owner yelled at myself and husband and had no issue taking more money from us and renting a 2nd room which would not have been used. He also said that writing a review won’t work as he laughed and said it does nothing go ahead. When I ask the owner how it was legal to lock my room and things up after I paid for the stay and ask him if I needed to call the police he said oh no no the keys have not been working all day we fix that for you…. BULLSHIT. The moral here we packed the room and left 3 kids 600 miles from home and had to find a place to sleep at 12am one of those children is 2 years old. We lost 432$ for one nite and one shower. I have already contacted the best western hotel corporate because this is not how a business should be ran. If you take the time to read this review DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! They will take your money and try to get more we were able to find a much nicer hotel ironically only 40$ more a nite. I also took pictures of the room as we left it for future reference as well as this review, because unfortunately this place is a scam and still has 150$ hold on my card on top of the 432$ they had zero problems collecting 23 hours before we checked in. DO...

UPDATE: Issue is still not taken care of, but finally, A MONTH LATER the “manager” has called me back! Of course not to work this issue out like a professional business should, but to yell at me for leaving a review! Oh then the “MANAGER” proceeded to tell me that I am broke, I have no money, and I had to have my father pay for the hotel rooms. Yes he paid for the hotel rooms, not because I am “broke” but because we were there for a wedding and it was part of the wedding gift. These people are completely out of line! I worked for a hotel for years and can guarantee if I EVER spoke to a customer like that and told them they were broke and didn’t have money, I would’ve lost my job! Corporate doesn’t seem to care either which is even worse. It’s sad this is how you treat a customer who spent well over $1,000 at your hotel and all I want was the incorrect charge fixed (which is around $120).

Worst experience! These people have no clue what they are doing. We had 6 rooms over the weekend and every day had to explain to them multiple times who was in what room and how long they were staying for and they still couldn't get it right. They overcharged us, double charged us, are saying they did not charge me for a room that was paid for by my father even after I sent them my bank statement with the transaction. Corporate has been no help and neither are the people at the hotel. We stayed here after my wedding and a few friends were trying to get a room but were told the hotel was sold out, while at the same time another friend called over the phone and booked a room with no problem. When asked why they said they were sold out but booked a room over the phone, the desk clerk then proceeded to call the police and say our friends were threatening her life. I will NEVER stay in another hotel in this...

If you are looking for a place with friendly service, affordable prices, and a decent visit, please go elsewhere because you won’t get that at this place.

During the outage my family (including my dog) came to stay here. I was really thrilled about choosing this place because they were very friendly, understanding, and they let me bring my pup. However things quickly changed when they kept saying the price is changing and it kept going up. It went from $25, to $149, to $190 and finally and grand total of $340 that I paid in cash. It was recommended that we do cash so no funds where being held from my account. I quickly agreed to that, wanted to be CASH ONLY. And they said that was fine but still needed my card on file incase I didn’t bring cash or their was damages. But I was told several times my card would not be charged. After waking up, I realized my bank account had been charged an additional $190, and I ended up paying $530 dollars for the night. When I confronted the front desk about it, they refused to reimburse the additional payment and said “well I don’t have your card number so how could I charge you” asked to see my account for proof. I declined so I wouldn’t be scammed yet again by them by showing my personal bank info. I did get a receipt for the cash payment. I took that to my bank and they refunded my money for me. I also took pictures of my room as evidence we didn’t leave any damages. This place was not worth the hassle. I would much rather have dealt with my house and no power. Please don’t be a victim to this place. I promise, you...
