First off you get what you pay for. The condescending and rudeness... I noticed a trend in the reviews of rudeness to women. I was unaware that service animals were welcome but emotional support animals were not. So day 2 we left to go to Dr at hospital, upon arrival back to our room I saw someone had been in the room. I felt violated as medical information and my underwear was on the bed. I have never had this happen in other hotels. I call for towels etc. I let this go as I am preparing to leave for dinner w family for my birthday. The room phone rang and was told to remove the cat from the room and leave it in the car. Feb in ohio ok. Not to mention rude attitude but he explained because of allergies. Hmmm service animals excepted but that's okay they don't cause allergies do to their tittle of service not emotional support.Hmmmm.... Now keep in mind that I had taken video and pictures of the room before and after stay. Base boards are were caked in dust and carpet around the edges. I have video of cob webs. It was a smoking room. I knew it would not be great at the cheap price. I get these people go through a lot with some of the characters I saw. This includes what appeared to be ladies of the night. But we are a 54 year old couple here to visit family and medical specialists. So no privacy in our room. Dislike of animals, condescending rudeness were not on the website as aminetties. I will not recommend or return. We will stay elsewhere. While dinning that night I had a conversation with a young man about the hotel. He doesn't want to be identified but said he was treated poorly and said it was made clear that his homosexualliy upset this man about renting a room to him. Stay at your own risk. If you want to see the...
Read moreWe have been coming here on and off throughout the summer due to having no ac at home. This time around we ha ve beenbhere almost 2 weeks due to a car running through our home and deeming it unlivable. We came here as a family of 8, 5 of which are children. We were made to feel so at home and the owner has been so wonderful to us. Always asking what we need or how he can help. I have terminal cancer and he is always there when I bet back from treatment to see if we need anything. Yesterday we had to call squad for my husband who has stage 4 COPD and emphysema. The owner was right there with me while emts were. Just making sure my family and I were OK. My husband was having severe breathing issues and was somewhat unresponsive. The owner joked around with my grandbabies and took their attention away from the emts and what they were doing to their pa-paw. I couldn't ask for a better place to be during o ne of the most trying times in our lives. This place is trying to become family oriented and keep prices affordable for people. I would definitely recommend stopping and staying here. The rooms are clean and the staff are very...
Read moreThe good things, check-in was fast and easy, desk person was efficient and friendly, the main manager was excitably interested in satisfying everyone, and we survived the night. Parking with a trailer was available although a walk from the room, there's a second building close (and I mean close) to the highway. The door faced the road noise and it went on all night long. ||||The bathroom floor was beautiful mid-century tile, probably original to the building..but so was the carpet which was not so pretty. The room was probably "clean" but everything was worn out several years ago. The chair in the room looked like it came off the top of the pile at the dump. The shower was passable with medium water pressure and plenty of hot water.||||Hey, it was one night and we survived, it was just a lot different than the pictures show and the other reviews made it sound a lot better than it was. I would not stay here again with the knowledge gained on the first visit, to...
