Super 8 by Wyndham Clarksville AR — Hotel in Clarksville

The rooms were seemingly clean. Dust cover however was not at all. To the point I removed said dust covers before getting in the bed. Stains and cigarette burn holes all over (I have video evidence). The telephone didn’t work. The television was stuck on one Spanish speaking channel. The peep hole had tissue paper shoved in it. The shower did have good pressure but the liner is pointless to even have up if it doesn’t contain the water from spilling out onto the floor (yes the shower curtain was inside the tub while showering). We found 4 outside bugs inside but we are from the country so we just killed them and didn’t worry too much about it (also have photographs of this). Upon first impression, check in staff were friendly. I initially thought there was maybe a language barrier as to why the two working the desk were speaking amongst one another in their native language, but once both of them spoke fluent English to me it became clear that something was off. I 36 y.o. Female was traveling with my 13 y.o. Daughter for travel ball. We were placed at the far end of the building on the second floor. The trouble began around midnight when someone attempted to get into our room and continued to mess with the door handle for about an hour. I moved the chair in front of the door and prayed for our safety. No i didn’t call the police because i was in survival mode and watching the door waiting for something to happen like an idiot. On departure that morning we noticed 3 cigarettes were put out right in front of our room, which would be fine had our room (214) not been completely secluded. No one had any business down there as there is no outlet unless they jump over the rail. Maybe surveillance cameras would help deter this type of activity. Check out was easy. Looked on google for the best deals after a 12 hour drive towards Florida. After looking on the website, it stated that it was $39 before taxes for the night. I decided to go into Super 8 and see if I could get that rate and the individual working was more than willing. After we went to get some dinner, they turned our cards off and we couldn't enter the room. We walked to the front desk and the manager said we couldn't get the rate. I told him we were already charged the $48 with tax. He started to get really short tempered with me and said that google was an unreliable source to look for hotels. I told him if he wanted to feel better, I could book online for $39 and he could refund me what I already paid.

All in all, he was hassling us stating that the price we saw and were going to purchase was incorrect. He then stated all of it was wrong and we were undercharged. All I can say is you shouldn't put that charge on the website if it's incorrect, then try to recharge me for my stay.

The room's AC also wasn't working correctly and the walls were extremely dirty. I would stay away from this place to avoid any unnecessary confrontations with the manager there. It wasn't worth it. The Comfort Inn across the street is about 15 dollars more, but it looked like a much better stay. Sacrifice the extra few dollars to avoid the...

Stayed one night I had two rooms one was supposed to be handicap accessible. We will start with the bathroom in the handicap accessible room. He had to double flush the toilet, no exhaust fan, ceiling looked to be painted like it was moldy to cover up actual mold, heat light timer did not work and we could not find the smallest wheelchair they make through the bathroom door. No refrigerator or microwave adjustable pairs did not So your armpits were at table height while trying to eat. Reading lamp was not adjustable and the walls were dirty.

Regular room, had to plug in the light, sink was clogged, Same thing with no exhaust and the oddly painted ceiling, dirty walls but I had a refrigerator in a microw but I had a refrigerator in a microwave.

All beds were comfortable. Nice area to take dogs.

Ice machine and laundry room were pretty disgusting. Ice machine was rusted which definitely made you question using it. Same with the washing machine using it. Same with the washing machine.
