South Park Restaurant — Restaurant in Clarksville

My wife and I have eaten here many times. We have never had a reason for a negative comment. We have recommended South Park highly. We have always enjoyed the lunch specials and all you can eat catfish on Saturday evenings. We came from Alma...as we have many times before...From the time we arrived... service was completely unacceptable. We sat there quite a while before Veronica noticed us....She acted bothered to end her conversation with other servers behind the counter to come over to wipe the table off. I asked for coffee....Veronica said they had some...but not much. I got Mountain Dew. (She didn't offer to make some) Later....I heard her holler across the restaurant for someone to make sweet tea. It was 5:00 on a Saturday. We saw our food sitting up in the window for quite a while....(We hoped it wasntt ours) We reminded her we had asked for crispy fries....she had such a rude attitude....Bree did her best to make up for her poor service. I paid for our dinner with a hundred dollar bIll....Veronica didn't bring all of our change back! Who does that? We don't think we...

My issue may seem petty but its all about principle..... me and my daughter came in as usuall and set down looked at the menu wow prime rib she always gets steaks well tonite was prime rib so she had to have it which was great to me because she'd actually mentioned prime rib earlier because i cook em several times a year at home(she said mine was better.lol) she also got a skewer of shrimp and a dr pepper or pibb whatever yall serve..i got my water and ordered a phillysteak omelette substitute bell peppers with jalepenos and add shrooms....waitress said she couldnt substitute she'd have to charge me for the jalapenos.....i think she said a quarter or 50 cents either wasnt the amount it was the principle....ive never been charged for swappin bells for jalapenos if the restaurants had em. They make me sick......so regardless. I declined to dine but refused to let my kid miss her $25 Streak Shrimp n Drink. So i letchyall get that $25....but thats the last penny of mine...

My son and I were on our way back home to Fayetteville after a Dr appointment in Russellville. We were looking for a restaurant other than the same ol'. We just took an exit that look like it had some food choices and so glad we did because we found a gem of a restaurant that had Excellent Service. Granted it was after the lunch crowd but still the lady who waited on my son & I was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. Not sure if she was the manager or owner but she was the best! The food? Excellent! Good homestyle comfort food. With excellent portions. You shouldn't leave hungry that's for sure. I will definitely make sure if we're ever in route through Clarksville again to stop and have another good meal. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. It's rare anymore to go to a restaurant with such good service and good food . Keep up the good work because...
