Not a whole lot to say about this place. We paid for the site, drove through what looked like a crowded sales lot at a discount RV show, got to our “campsite” and turned around to find a different place to spend the night. Technically it’s a campground I suppose. There were tents there...we were 4 feet from the neighbors, who may or may not be be living there in that tent, on a weed filled patch of grass in front of a puddle of mosquitos.
Sometimes I wonder if people reviewing campgrounds on Google have ever camped before. This is not a place to find any sort of relaxation on the Oregon Coast. It’s a place to spend the night (maybe) if your car broke down in the parking lot. It’s about 4 miles from a beautiful beach...which is great, but that beauty has not rubbed off on this place. The people running it are probably great, and maybe the bathrooms are clean 🤷🏻♂️ but there’s a whole world out there full of campgrounds where you don’t feel the vibrations of your neighbor snoring and talking about what it feels...
Read moreCool Site. I stayed here on my motorbike trip this summer16' from northern Canada. The site was full of what looked like lots of regulars. Like a little community. I camped in the back tent pad area under a tree. It rained pretty good that night which was very cosy in my tent watching movies on the iPad. I woke up to a sunny foggy morning to a turkey gobbling around my tent. Some have roosters, I got turkeys. After i settled into camp my bud and i rode into that pizza joint on the main street in gold beach which was very good food. I would stay here again for sure. One thing i noticed about the bathroom is the privacy walls that surround the toilet are so high you can see peoples butts on the toilet seat when your walking around the bathroom. Unfortunately i was the butt in question. No one should have to suffer the sight of my ultra...
Read moreThis RV camping location is a wonderful place to take the family for a great time to enjoy the fresh air and out doors. There is a restaurant located in front and has that home cooked style of tastiness. Have your own campfire to sit around with friends and roast some marshmallows and hot dogs. You are located just across the street from the Rogue River, boat access up the way to enjoy a day out fishing. There are many beautiful river trails to venture out and take it all in. The best part I would have to say about the trails, are all of the fresh sweet blackberries to enjoy right then and there or pick for later to make pies or jam. Over all a nice place to vacation or stay a...
