It has something to be said that the campground itself is pretty okay. The managent however, is not. We had come with a group of friends who we hadn’t seen in a long time. We were playing card games and having a good time, being mindful that is was approaching 10pm and we quieted down. At 10:03..yea 10:03, the camp host came up to our campsite and yelled, “ hey, guys, yeah you! look guys it’s after 10, we’ve gotten multiple calls from both of your neighbors, you guys need to be respectful!” We all apologized and she marched away. She was so loud that she actually woke our neighbor and he came over to see who was yelling at us. We informed him that the camp host had apparently been receiving multiple calls “from our neighbors”. He replied, “ oh no you guys quieted down at 10, we didn’t call, no complaint from us!” So...she lied to us. She also yelled loud enough and rude enough that she scared my little brother who left and went home to our other site. And all through the rest of the night we heard so many other sites keeping us awake, or yelling and screaming at 6am and waking us up. Not professional in my opinion and sad that that’s how it ended our camping trip. Can’t say we’ll be back after being...
Read moreWe stayed here off season in March and really enjoyed our stay. We had one of their premium sites right on the Creek. It was beautiful and so relaxing. Everyone was very friendly and the park was very quiet even though there were a lot of people there. They are very dog friendly with nice places to walk your dog. There are a lot of trees and a nice grassy area. When Dogs visit with their people, they have to keep their people on leashes, which we appreciated! The sites are small and close together, but all RV parks we have seen in Gold Beach seem to be. I think in high season, it might feel crowded, but they do put some fences in between a lot of the sights which is very nice. The sites have picnic tables, and there are some nice covered areas for socializing. They have nice bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Also a cafe with excellent food for breakfast or lunch. They have a nice woodsy setting, yet very close to town and...
Read moreVery friendly staff. Easy access location. Seems like a popular park for lots of seasonal fishermen. Tight spaces and a funky internal road system. We could not comfortably fit our 29 ft fifth wheel into the very tight circular 30 amp sites so paid a little more for a pull through spot. Clean bathrooms. Nice little store on site for the basic non perishables and lots of packs of pricey high quality Wagyu beef! On site restaurant. We did not try it but it looks fairly popular. A little on the pricey side for breakfast but not crazy. Overall, a nice enough campground with friendly people that seems to need a little TLC but I suspect that much of this may be due to current day staffing market issues in...
