We had a great experience here. I was with my dear friend who’s in a wheelchair and the hotel is super accessible!!! The staff were wonderful and very friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Somehow the Allen wrench that is needed to put together his bathroom chair wasn’t in his luggage, and they located a set for us both for the assembly and disassemble. Really appreciated it! The rooms were comfy and cozy. My room 322 was the “thumper” room which simply means the wind catches the roof tile and causes a thumping sound overhead. I called down and they immediately brought up a box fan for white noise and that was perfect!! They have a Starbucks with a decent breakfast menu downstairs. A lovely fitness center TIP: if you have your own water bottle they have a refill station inside the fitness center.

They have great outdoor seating with firepits and cozy cushioned chairs. Pool area is nice and lots of Lounge chairs on the deck

There are three semi-private nooks with tv screens and cushioned booths for conference calls and small meetings immediately on right of entrance in lobby.

Tons of lounge and couch seating in the lobby as well.

A lounge area with bar we didn’t use.

We did frequent the Porcupine restaurant down below, and the Eighth Distillery next door. Recommend both! Tip: you can accesss the 7-11 and porcupine restaurant level by going to basement of Eighth distillery restaurant elevator parking garage. There’s access to sidewalk in front by the main...

Dear Marriott Customer Service,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior of Victor from the reservations team at your Mexico City location.

On 9/3/24, I contacted the reservations department to inquire about changing the dates of my existing reservation. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Victor, the representative who assisted me, was not only unhelpful but also exhibited extremely rude behavior.

Firstly, Victor provided misleading information regarding the process for changing reservation dates. Despite my clear and concise communication about the desired change, he insisted that it was not possible, only for me to discover later that it could have been done. This misinformation led to significant inconvenience and additional stress.

Furthermore, Victor's demeanor was unprofessional. He was dismissive and showed a lack of respect throughout the conversation. His attitude was not only frustrating but also left me feeling disrespected as a customer.

Given the standards of service expected from a reputable establishment like Marriott, I find this behavior to be entirely unacceptable. I kindly request that this matter be investigated and appropriate actions be taken to address these issues. I trust that Marriott will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction and ensure that such incidents do not recur.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response...

I was in town because of a family tragedy. I booked this hotel because I knew I was going to be emotionally disadvantaged and wanted to make sure that everything went correctly where I slept so I could recover. I nearly booked another nearby hotel that was 60% cheaper and because of this I expected more.

The bed in my king room was squashed, irregular, and generally broken. It also has a motion activated light directly above the bed so when you move the Eye of Sauron decides to look at you ALL NIGHT. I speak to the front desk, they hear this problem often and there is no way to turn it off or disable it.

So I switched rooms, the queen room does not have the night light problem. Although it still has an utterly broken bed.

Sound conduction is poor, room temperature regulation is poor, pillows are poor, and frankly I'm not sure what went right. I suppose parking is easy? Ample power outlets? Actually, I do know what went right. There was one member of staff that I dealt with every morning. That really tall dude that gave me a cup of coffee. He was great, friendly as hell and really softened the blow from the terrible night's sleep that I always got.

Pro tip, the attached picture shows a nice way to block the intermittently flashing and...

Amazing location and this Courtyard is in amazing condition. However this is where it ended. 1) Arrived Sunday evening. No mention of Ambassador or offering of water, etc. 2) On Monday morning I tried to do breakfast the next morning. No one was at the counter and one table outside had been served. Two people were working in the back, I asked if they were taking orders and they said rudely that they would be right out. Two minutes later we left. 3) I was going to get sodas and water for the family from the Crate at the front desk. Water was $3.50. Sodas was $5.00. Gatorade was $5.50. Seriously? We walked less than a block to 7/11. 4) On Tuesday, our towels had not been refreshed. I went by the counter to ask for some but no one was there. I used the Bonvoy App chat features at 6:30PM. They were finally answered at 11:00 PM. 5) It is now Thursday and we have yet to have room service. I understand short staff, but typically this is told upfront and we are instructed to call or schedule days. 6) We arrived back from skiing at 4:15 PM. I was going to grab a beer from the bar but it didn't open until 5:00 PM. I tried getting a beer from the Crate at the front desk, but no alcohol options.
