TL;DR - Room smelled of smoke, very disruptive housekeeping Rented a room for the night around the 4th of July. Price was okay for a suite, but the second building is in the middle of a small remodel apparently. The room was set up to be a handicapped accessible room, which is odd because there isn't an elevator. The room had a smell of smoke, even though the whole hotel is a non-smoking. The bedding was clean at least. We woke up in the morning at 9:06am to housekeeping knocking on the door. We told her we were good, but thanks anyway. She said okay, waited 10 seconds, then started fumbling with the door handle. We told her we were good again, and she kept trying to get in. I had to get dressed, open the door, and asked her to please stop. "Oh, you're in this room?" "Yeah..." "Oh well, I need to clean" "Well, I need sleep, thanks" We're obviously in the room, we're not leaving for you to clean until we check out. Ridiculous. Would not stay here again.

Confirmation email directions link sent me 45 minutes out of my way! Sent me to 127 South instead of north!!!. I had to call the hotel to get the proper directions. I was at Buckeys right up the street and was snet on a wild goose chase!! Coffee pot in room had a dirty water reciever. I had to wipe it out. Still dirty use😔. Was not greated as a Gold Choice Member. Was not offered a choice of water snack or points. I wanted water for my coffee. She gave me points without asking. She was nice but not what is expected. My extra pillow i requested was not there in me room. After parking my car i returned to my room and a pillow was on my bathroom sink with no pillow case. Had to track down a maid and she had to go and get one. She was nice but!!! No channel guide for the tv and guide on the remote didnt work. So i have to scan thru each channel to find something. Room was clean and inviting but!!

I checked in this afternoon for my stay and ended up having to wait for maintenance to come back to change the batteries in my door card reader. I could not get into the room for 20 minutes after check in. This annoyance wasn’t a big deal but the icing on the cake is the dog turd in my room. It kind of blends in with the carpet but it makes me question how much effort is put into cleaning at this location. Location is fine to get to but the 2 buildings are not connected and it’s kind of a weird set up.

The location is perfect but we were placed in the I40 side so the road noise is a lot. It doesn’t get blocked out.

The rooms are spacious, but it was like stepping into a hotel of days gone by. I was expecting the receipt to be slid under the door in the morning. The walls seems freshly painted and some hardware seems updated but it doesn’t all match. The doors are the old wood. There is a full length mirror on the side of the closet.

Heat/AC controls are still on the window unit and worked well. The mini fridge was running on check in which is a nice surprise since many turn them off each day. There is a microwave but we didn’t use it.

The tub needed a good cleaning around the hardware and the shower head needed to be remounted into the wall as it’s hanging out. We were given an accessible room and made it took a little bit to figure out the shower. The sink is outside the toilet and shower space. A blow dryer is attached to the wall.

The wifi password was unreadable on the key folio. The clerk also said my room number out loud which as the time was ok since the lobby was empty as it was evening. As soon as I checked in, the desk clerk’s friend arrived, and they went outside to talk and smoke which seemed odd and made any follow up seem awkward.

The woman working breakfast was super friendly and polite. The breakfast was typical for free hotel breakfast but only runs 6-9 am.

I didn’t see any of the bugs other mentioned. The bed was comfortable. There is a pool and fitness center but didn’t try either. It was adequate for our needs and the $85 room charge was reasonable for me. I wouldn’t want to pay more. I was not made aware of the refundable incidental charge and don’t appear to have been...

We arrived late at this hotel, very tired. When we checked in, the lady at the desk was very nice. That was the only nice thing about this place. We got our keys, and started around the side of the hotel. The driveway and parking lot are full of holes and 3-4 inch drops in the pavement. It was very dangerous to drive through. We got parked and entered the building. We had specifically asked for non-smoking due to allergies, and when we walked into the building, the hallway was full of smoke (from tobacco products). We looked around, and there are alternating smoking and non-smoking rooms, so the smoke from the smoking rooms permeated the hallway. When we got to our room, there was a dehumidifier outside. We thought that was a little odd, but proceeded into the room. Our son is extremely allergic to mold, and immediately his head started clogging up. I started reacting to the smoke in the hallway. We called the front desk and asked if they had another room we could move to. There were no other rooms, so we asked if we could leave without any charges. The nice lady at the desk allowed us to do that. Like I said, aside from the lady at the front desk, the hotel was awful. While we were in the room, we noticed holes in the walls and an awful smell from the mold and mildew. A major...

When we checked in and the room it was dirty, my wife used the toilet and came out of the bathroom and told me the toilet was very loose so I went in to check and in fact it was very loose. In the morning I reported it to the desk clerk and was informed that they did not have any maintenance staff on duty and that the owners were on vacation. I was then told that they could possibly give me another room but it might not be exactly like the room I reserved and paid for I had a room with a king bed and couch. I was not happy about that but said I would think about it and discuss it when we got back from visiting with family and relatives. We got back at 8:45PM after having dinner but no one was at the desk when we returned so we went to the room. I went back out and checked the desk at 9:20PM and still no one was there so we went to bed, We were planning on checking out on Sunday so now it made no sense to change rooms on Saturday so I relayed this to the desk clerk in the morning when we left for the day we got back in the evening again and to our surprise the room had not been cleaned again and we had no clean towels I went to the desk and reported this and asked for clean towels so we could shower on Sunday morning before checking out this is the reason for the grade I placed...
