Waffle House — Restaurant in Crossville

I 💛🖤💛🖤💛 Waffle House! The food is……..ehhh. It’s not bad. It’s not Grandma’s house either. During actual breakfast hours there’s a good chance the place will be pretty full (especially on weekends). Maybe it’s the diner-type atmosphere that brings out the best of people, nevertheless you can count on Waffle House being filled with nice people who like to talk. During the daylight hours this place is usually…… pleasant. BUT…in the wee hours of morning is where this little jewel beside the interstate really shines bright. Like moths to a porch light, the world’s most unique find their way to it’s doorstep. Insomniacs, concert-goers, truckers, and pajama wearing people-watchers (like myself) all gather to enjoy waffles! You never know what type of crowd you may meet! The whole place might break-out into song or you may be entertained with a joke telling waitress. No matter what there are a couple of things you can count on-there will be someone there to talk to and there will...

My husband came in to order a to go order for us last night and I’m not very pleased with the interaction. When he began order he told the lady he don’t catch her name. That my two over medium eggs and toast (he said no to the two egg breakfast bc that not what I wanted) could not be around any red meat because of my allergies to it. The lady didn’t apparently tell the cook and he got irritated and said well maybe you should’ve said something but used a bit worse language along with another man co worker of theirs cussing up a storm. They remade my food and gave it to my husband where he then thanked them for remaking it. I’m upset about the whole situation because I know he told the workers about my food allergies. It could’ve been bad for me if they didn’t remake it and just took the bacon out but this was a sad situation do better...

🙄🙄🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️Blaze is the only one who looked at me an took my order 😤 Teresa just stared at the entire time I was in there with a mug on her face the the old guy at the bar didn't want me sitting beside him but the other gentleman didn't mind he talked to me we were laughing and everything the food was horrible I came to check of the hype of the eggs and it's back same o same o eggs 🥚 🪺 😅 they didn't want to serve me I waited everyone around me got there food eating digested an leaving but no I'm still waiting for my food that's when blaze took my order then the chick clocked out instead of cooking my food she said she wasnt gonna do it so yeah don't worry haha I won't be back then on top of all of that they cook the food an their arm pits are hovering over every plate I waited until I got outside to throw up...
