This place was meticulously impeccably spotless, spacious, and updated. They communications were excellent. Our room was a 2 bedroom full service apartment. I highly recommend this location. My review will cover accessibility. I use mostly a mobility scooter and a walker for inside. I could not get my scooter through the loose gravel parking area. We had to back up the car to the wood plank ramp and go up that way with a walker. The curbing is extremely high so that was not an option. The ramp and porch-walkway area are also planked wood. It was the worst feature of our stay. A parking pad of cement would help. And a smooth ramp up. I tripped often. Once inside the unit, the living area was spacious and open and would accommodate a wheelchair with no problem. The living room area is open and easy to move around. The couches are extra low, so I could not use them. I had to sit in a kitchen chair. A sturdy armed sofa chair would have made it perfect. Both beds were rather high. I could not get in the one, however the 2nd one was lower. So with a little help, I could get in it. 4” lower would have made it so much easier. It would be tight with a wheelchair. The bathroom is the only dated part of this unit, although tasteful and spotless. There are no grab bars in the tub or by the toilet. That would have made it possible for me to take a shower. The sink counter is right next to the toilet. The toilet is a good height. It was quiet and comfortable. If you have never used a Keurig coffee maker, watch a video before you go. We could not get anything but a shot of Jo. So I had to wait 3 hours for coffee. I could not get enough signal to watch one there. This unit could easily be used for a long term stay for a person with mobility challenges with some inexpensive modifications. Mostly the grab bars and a smooth...
Read moreAs big fans of the TV show, we were really looking forward to our stay in the Yellowstone Suite. However, on the morning of check-in, we received an email saying that the suite was still occupied and we’d been moved to the Highland Suite instead.||When we arrived and went to our room, it was clearly already in use. With no one in the office, we had to call the contact number. A team member arrived shortly after and explained that the guests in the Highland Suite had decided not to leave, and there was someone living in the Yellowstone Suite who also hadn’t checked out yet.||We were then offered a choice between two other rooms — the Buffalo Cabin or the White Tail Suite. The White Tail Suite looked much nicer, so we chose that, only for the staff member to realise it was also already booked.||The staff member was very sweet and apologetic, and it was clear none of this was their fault. However, it seems that when you book here, your room isn’t actually guaranteed, as guests can simply choose to extend their stay and not check out.||We ended up in the Buffalo Cabin, which was okay but not what we’d hoped for. Thankfully, it was available, as the place appeared fully booked otherwise — if it hadn’t been, we might have had nowhere to...
Read moreMy fiancée and I booked a cabin here for a weekend ski getaway. We had an absolute blast. We stayed in the highlander cabin and it was so cozy and cute. The room was newly remodeled and had everything we needed including a kitchenette for preparing some pre-ski meals. The location of the cabin was close driving to the ski runs and only walking distance from downtown Darby where there are some cool bars and some good restaurants like Pizza at the blue joint and the 406 saloon. It was a very convenient location for us. The owners, Zach and Libby, we very accommodating and were super helpful giving us suggestions for local breweries, restaurants, and places to go. Would highly recommend and we will definitely make be making more annual trips to stay here. Thanks again Zach and Libby! Can’t wait to...
