We recently held our wedding reception at the 406, and I can honestly say it was a truly spectacular experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the charm of the venue. The warm ambiance created by the fireplace set the perfect tone for our celebration, and the outdoor dancing area was a delightful touch that our guests thoroughly enjoyed.
One of the highlights of the evening was the food. We chose a menu that featured salmon and ribeyes, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The salmon was flaky and flavorful, while the ribeyes were tender and juicy – it was clear that a lot of care had gone into preparing each meal. There was more than enough food to satisfy our guests, and the selection allowed everyone to find something they loved.
We also appreciated the unique huckleberry drinks that were served, adding a special Montana twist to our reception. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the night.
Overall, our wedding reception at the 406 exceeded our expectations in every way. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to celebrate a...
Read moreGreat place, atmosphere was awesome, pretty busy place on the patio!! Kelli O was our bartender and server. She was ridiculous. Ignored us with 2 people in the bar and 3 people at a table behind us. They wanted to leave and couldn't get her attention to pay their bill to leave. It was the same with us. Only 2 of us but couldn't get her to come to our table to take our beer order and she looked upset when we wanted to order food. Our food took way too long but came out hot fresh and delicious!! The cilantro was fresh and very tasty. When Kelli dropped off our bill we sat for 21 minutes waiting for her to come pick up our payment. We finally got tired of waiting and as we walked to the bar to pay her she looked right at us and walked out onto the floor to clean a table. It looked like she was dodging us as we approached her to hand her our payment she attempted to leave to go back behind the bar. If you don't like waiting on people, get out of the business. I'm a very heavy tipper as I have 40 years of server, bartender and management experience. I get it and I don't have a problem tipping you!! Except you Kelli, I'm trying to main professional here but you...
Read moreTerrible experience. We came in at about 3:30pm with very few people dining in in the Cafe. We were visiting the town the first time and felt hungry and simply ordered a sandwich and salad. We waited more than 30 minutes, no food served. A couple came in after us who ordered after us have been served with food within 15 or so minutes and start eating. We asked the waitress where is our food and why even people came after us already started eating while we kept waiting? The waitress said our food will be ready in 5 mins. We waited for 15 more minutes, the couple had already finished eating, while us still drinking water. No one came and explain us what is going on. We were starving and felt insulted. I went up and asked the waitress again, she said it’s “almost ready”. I have no idea what kind of sandwich & salad takes them an hour to cook with so few people in the place and what is her definition of almost ready. We were frustrated and left...
