Well, if you're like spending ur dime in a motel, but would like to pay for a hotel, this is your kinda place. Its an old building, well lit and brightly painted. However, when u park and look closely, you'll find scenes of dirty mops hanging from palm tree branches, floors strewn with enormous malfuntioning ac units, and a carpetted 1st floor thats coliur must have faded since desert storm, but still pushed into use. We did the blunder of getting a jet jacuzzi room. The tub was small and uncomfortably oval. The TV was a small set that one had to cringe while looking at. The fridge and microwave, while being operational, added to the spoils of a momentous decade. While the room was enormous, the bathroom seemed to be horribly shrunk at one corner. Room service does not make beds or provide garbage bags, if you plan to stay for more than a night. The reception seems to be the most guarded with cameras focussed on the foyer at the entrance amd inside. We were charged extra for breakfast inclusion, so breakfast was (drumroll please) 4 different types of cereal, cold milk and coffee. Even the juice dispensing machine seemed to be out of order indefinitely. The only thing endearing to us were the pups that the owner's family had at the desk. The pool seemed unkempt, so didn't bother asking. The bedspread stank and the floor had a hole where an attempt was made to cover up as much. A farcry from the hospitality we received from their Toccoa property in the middle of covid, i might add). If you're trying to save up and bother about value for koney, try the motel down the road, than this...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star I would!!!! To start I NEVER take the time to leave a review about a hotel and my boyfriend is a traveling tower climber so we stay in hotels all the time. This hotel, however, is absolutely HORRIBLE. Everything about it. From the desk clerks to things as small as keeping the rooms in order. House keeping is horribly rude. Knocked on my door and when I didn't answer it opens the door (while I have a do not disturb sign hanging out side) wakes me up and LAUGHS beause I'm in my bed asleep at 8 then walks in plugs up the vacuum and proceeds to clean like I wasn't even there. Didn't take the trash I had to make our beds the WHOLE time. Again, my boyfriend works on cell phone towers so his job can last from 3 days to 30 depending on the site. Originally got the 2 rooms for 3 days and had to extend our day after a week of doing so the owner/desk clerk informs us a DAY BEFORE that they have reserved our rooms for different guest and that we have to leave the following morning. When we asked why this had happened they then proceed to tell us, "it's business". This is the worst most rude service we have EVER experienced and anyone who stays in hotels for a living knows it can get pretty bad. To ANYONE planning to stay here I highly recommend a...
Read moreThe night clerk was not friendly, as seemed to have awakened him, but did give me a ground floor when I requested it. The room was older but clean, bed was comfortable and no bugs. There was no coffee or amenities provided for the coffee maker that was in the room. The ice machine was just plain scary when I went to get some, appeared to be dirty and moldy so did not use it. Ample parking as we where pulling a car trailer.||Advertised a continental breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM, we walked in at 08:25 AM and it was all put away and lady was finishing cleaning up. The desk clerk reluctantly walked over and turned on the orange juice dispenser for us since the cleaning lady just walked away and that was it she would not even talk to us. The staff in general was not friendly at all, it was like what are you doing here, even the clerk as I returned the room key was not at all friendly. Not a Good evening or Good morning or a hope you enjoyed your stay or was everything ok with your room. Not even a smile. Wifi was available but not sure if it was free or at a cost, as had to call to get it and did not want to bother the grumpy night clerk. It was late so just went to sleep. Oh and did not even give...
