The pictures speak for themselves. One of the best places for dessert and acai bowls in the metro Detroit area.
It's located on Michigan Ave on the east side of Dearborn. Free parking in the back. When coming you're immediately greeted with a Hawaiian theme and a friendly smile. They serve great cold drinks, lattes, acai bowls, crepes, and mini pancakes.
Came here with a friend. We ordered a Spanish latte, a raspberry mojito, Nutella crepe, and an acai bowl mixed with passion fruit and dragon fruit. The Spanish latte was a great mix of milk and coffee, phenomenal. Apparently the owner told me it's a well known drink from Saudi Arabia, and I can see why. The raspberry mojito was great, tasting just like a Shirley Temple. Unfortunately, they are heavy handed with the ice reducing how much drink you actually get. What you do get is amazing.
The crepe, is on the smaller side but is warm, fluffy, sweet, and comes with a side of ice cream. It comes with fruit on the side and is delicious. The acai bowl tastes good, fresh, and cold. It's also on the smaller side but you do get to chose what toppings you want.
The prices are a tad high and the portions are a tad small, but the staff is EXCELLENT. They really take time to explain the menu and make sure you have everything you need. They treat you like family, and will offer to remake your drink if it's not to your liking. They even gave me a free shirt!
Honestly I'm glad to see more places like this on the east side. It's a great place to study, hangout, or take a date out. My friends and I will definitely...
Read moreI went into the cafe today 11/7/25 around 12:30pm. I ordered crepes and a tea. After my food was ready, I asked the man working there (short hair, wearing hat, medium complexion and short beard) if they were hiring. He initially says no, but starts asking me my work history and took down my name and number. He then asked me if I was gay which caught me off guard as I have never been asked that. He frames it as if he is just curious, then asks if I have time to take a tour of the back kitchen to show me what its like working there. I say yes snd follow him to the back kitchen where he tells me to sit down. As I go to sit, he grabs his crotch and asks “How is touching? Can we touch?” I immediately say no, grab my food and drink and ran out of the store. This is beyond unacceptable and I demand justice for this sexual harassment and assault. Owners of Mokaccino, this is your opportunity to correct these predatory behaviors or I will be forced to file a...
Read moreI’ve been here only once and it was a great experience. I came with a couple of my friends and the service was great! The staff was so friendly, and I’m not sure if the guy there was the owner but he was very, very nice.
He kept coming up to us and checking to see if everything is okay and how everything was, and usually that would bother me, especially at a place like this, but I didn’t mind at all. He was super friendly.
We ordered a couple desserts and some drinks, and the mojitos were really good. This was the first time I try a mojito and I really liked it. I got the raspberry mojito and it was perfect. It was really sour and carbonated. I also got waffles, but they were alright. They kind of tasted like they were overdone. They could be better but still good.
I also felt like the prices were a bit too high. The interior is also very nice. I like the mini waterfall inside. All in all, great experience. Definitely...
