Disappointed and Frustrated: A Review of Victoria Palms Inn & Suites

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at Victoria Palms. Initially, my experience at your establishment seemed promising. The ambiance, amenities, and service appeared to align with the expectations set forth by your marketing materials. However, any positive impressions I had were swiftly overshadowed by the mishandling of my checkout process and the subsequent failure to refund my deposit and early checkout fees.

Upon checking out one night earlier than planned, I was assured by your staff that I would receive a refund totaling $137 for the unused night. Additionally, I was informed that my deposit would be returned promptly. However, it has been 2 days since my departure, and I have yet to see any sign of the promised refund.

This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. Not only did I not receive the refund I was assured of, but the failure to return my deposit has left me feeling deceived and undervalued as a patron.

It is disheartening to witness such negligence, especially after having recommended Victoria Palms to friends and family based on my initial positive experiences. Regrettably, I must retract any endorsements I have made and caution others against patronizing your establishment until these issues are addressed and rectified.

I demand immediate action to remedy this situation. I expect a prompt refund of both my deposit and the early checkout fees, as promised. Additionally, I urge you to review your policies and procedures to ensure that future guests are not subjected to similar treatment.

Failure to resolve this matter satisfactorily will compel me to pursue further action through consumer advocacy channels and online review platforms.

Update: I have received my $50 deposits however the remaining $87 have yet to be received for the early checkout...

Very clean rooms, pool and jacuzzi were clean as well. However brekfast was a buzz kill; went to get food for my husband, myself and 3 kids and was met with a snarky chef that commented on the amount of food I was taking back to my room. I'm guessing he thought it was all for myself and mentioned that it wasn't a grocery store. I left embarrassed and didn't say anything back. It was my second time staying at this inn and from what I can tell he sits and sucks up to the local winter texans for tips. I was going to leave a tip but after that comment I left unimpressed and humiliated. Planning on not going back and instead going to find another inn to stay at while visiting the valley.

He was also complaining to the winter texans how the inn doesn't supply him with stuff. &that supposedly he asks everyday. Not sure if that was a tactic to make the group of winter texans feel bad for him or if it was true but still very unprofessional. Maybe that's why he was pressed on the amount of food i was taking back to my room for my family. Also his potatoes with peel on 'em and egg were gross...

We stayed at the place for 10weeks last winter. They charged us $1800/mo. We stayed with our animals, our 2 dogs are bigger dogs. At the time approximately 50lbs and 70lbs. We had no problems for 10 weeks.||This year we are only going for 1 week. All of a sudden, my dogs are too big. When I called manager, to find out what was going on, he had the sales mgr call me back. Why, no idea?||He then proceeded to tell me that they found notes of our last year stay and I asked if there were any complaints he said no so they were willing to break the rule this time and allow us to stay but they were upping the pet fee to $85 from $50 plus $30 each additional pet. ||To me without all the stuff being brought up when I made my original reservation is ridiculous and for it to come up after the fact now and I have to cancel my reservation because they wouldn’t allow my dogs or they were trying to soak us for more money just to get them there is crazy and unethical.||VICTORIA PALMS INN AND SUITES DOES BAD BUSINESS.
